If my cat stares at me I squint at him and most times he'll squint back.

I assume my cat is just constantly judging me 😂

One of my cats will jump on the bed in the morning and I wake up to him looking into my face. Once I give him eye contact and a slow blink he'll start nuzzling me and purring loudly. I love that sweet boy .

Cats senses are unreal, changes in the environment or atmosphere many times my cat told me by reactions then me actually finding out on my own. Many people who have nde (near death experiences) say they come out of their body as a spirit & when they are around their animals especially cats, they always look right at them floating or whatever. My cat had terrible dental problem which left him with only 4 teeth, only 1 of which is a fang. He needed antibiotics after the extraction of his other teeth. I did not want to stick a syringe into his sore mouth so I found these purée treats…. Well after getting a treat mixed with antibiotics twice a day for a little over a week, he learned that when I wake up it’s time for a treat and when I get home from work it’s time for a treat. If I try to sleep in, he lets me know about it.

I looked after an abandoned cat , she instantly took to me and spent most of her time with me , especially during the winter evenings where she would lay on my lap while I watched t.v . She often stared into my eyes while I stroked her . A month ago she stared into my eyes for much longer than usual , unfortunately 5 days later she passed away , I was devastated by her passing .

Just to clarify a bit, cats slow blinking isn't really a sign of affection more so as it's a sign of their comfort, relaxation, and them feeling safe around you. It's a great technique to use on scared or highly stressed cats (looming vet visit for example) to let them know that things are alright, and to show them that you're not stressed yourself. Oh I love All fur babies~ I've been a kitty person my entire life. As of now, I have a 7yr old Kali & baby Hella. Hella is still new to indoor life, I care for a Colony of Ferals, even bought an igloo , padded it up & put blankets inside & We made a porch for them. Noone likes to have bad weather blowing through their doors. I've been able to earn trust & they love LOVE. they finally understand when you feed & give fresh water daily, & once you've earned their trust to let you touch them, ( never grab a feline that doesn't come to you & ask for your love. ) Eye contact is Huge. My outdoor ferals & Both my girls ; mostly Hella now because she's only 7 months old now, She was 1 of our felines/Colony kitties) she does the stare, blinks & marks my feet with her whiskers while I'm getting her food ready. I speak to them as I would anyone else ( I give them much respect) ❤❤❤ if you really want love, Unconditional love, get a kitten or grown kitty who really needs a good home. When I was a kid, I used to stare at my cat, and when he would stare away, I'd walk slowly closer to him, lol. I actually learned it from him. He used to always lunge at me before I'd get too close, though. I miss my cat so much, I wish video cameras were around when I was a kid. I probably have a dozen photos of him, that's it. Or I'd also stare at him from behind the door and when he would notice me I would go "huh" like I got caught hahaha. He was this huge, beautiful white cat with grey throughout his back.
