To clean a jetted tub, use Oh Yuck jetted tub cleaner. Fill the tub with hot water, pour in 4 ounces and run the tub for 15 minutes. Wipe down with paper towels and you have a nice clean jetted tub

Thank you for all the great content. You two really hustle while raising a toddler, which I’m also doing! I did think this video was going to be more about what exactly the companies doing these services offer, price ranges, just more details on what a service like this is. It felt more like just an apartment touring video with some snippets about neighborhoods, which was all good info too for people especially looking at Lisbon. I would love it if you made one that was more detail about the companies, or one company and their services, what they can help with and what they don’t, price ranges, just a total info video for those who are coming in knowing nothing about this service. Keep up the great work and content! Been watching for almost a year now on the regular!

Hi ESG, you're welcome. The companies offer a pretty wide range of prices as it's tailored and there are a variety of packages so it's best to learn about each individual company. This was basically a ride along so you could see what the service is like. It was more show than tell. The apartment touring is the kind of information that's given. Like a real estate agent would give but it's not an agent. None of these companies are agents per se (in a classical sense. They're more of buyer's agents, which doesn't really exist here...yet). - Josh & Kalie

Such a great video! Didn’t know there were this type of trips. They can be indeed very useful for someone thinking of relocating. You should also cover other not so popular neighborhoods, where you can get good value for money. If you ever think about that I’d be glad to help with Benfica. Such an underrated neighborhood. 😉

We don't mind doing some more neighborhood videos but we have to take a break right now because they're really labor intensive and expensive. That first condo is gorgeous, but I would be super curious what the cost if it is now. I keep hearing that the prices are increasing dramatically, especially in and around Lisbon.

We originally hadn't considered it thinking it might be too hot but, given the recent hot weather, the overall picture seems different now. We also just really liked the vibe a lot!

Wonderful apartment (no. 1)!! Wow!!! Love the botanical gardens area as well. What about pets? Are dogs allowed? Bidets are no big deal, they’re nice to have (Americans are not used to them). LOVE apt #3!!

@@ExpatsEverywhere De nada! Fortunately, we found an apartment 2 years ago at the maximum limit of our budget but it's still the biggest chunk of the expenses. We're outside of Lisbon. The prices in your video are higher than similar rentals in some other European countries (or even in California) where salaries are much higher...it doesn't make any sense.

If to get a D7 I need to have a lease contract, when do I do the scouting trip? That’s the part that I find confusing. I don’t even know how long the consular process is going to take much less the SEF appointment to get the residency card.

It's a little tough to say because of the way the process is right now. Technically, SEF has 60 days to get approve or deny your application, however, they're processing people much faster right now. The downside that's currently happening is that some people are having to rent an apartment starting now and paying for their place while they wait, but there are work arounds and also properties that get listed a month or two before it becomes vacant. A scouting trip can be done anytime really and doesn't have to include apartment viewings but guided tour/walk-arounds of neighborhoods so that you know where you want to target when you're ready to rent. 😁 There's a lot of variance and options. - Josh & Kalie

Hi guys ,me and family arrived in Porto on July 5 still waiting for luggage , anyway we love it so far just hot a little bit .We are in Boavista area right now for 10 days just wondering about good local gem real Portuguese food ? We are here for 3 weeks to start looking for retirement but not city leaving not to far . You can pay a service to show you neighborhoods and real estate in the neighborhood to get a better feel of what it's about. It's also possible to do this for cities and town. We didn't get paid to go on this scouting trip. 😁 - Josh & Kalie
