They are even quieter when you fire BB’s. Literally 2-3 metres max and the muzzle sound is lost when you are out skirmishing an MTW. I was super impressed when I fielded mine.

@Zermattquattro hey man which one have you found works bet on the mtw xl short or long I have a 10"mtw and deciding on either the short or xl can you give me an insight on both please

@@Brychan_Llyr there is practically no difference that’s really perceptible but the longer is just a little quieter than the short due to greater internal volume but that said if you want a shorter RIF you won’t be disappointed with the 100mm Hexx. I to run the 10” sbr but with a longer hand guard so the suppressors are set into said hand guard. Hope that helps 👍

@Zermattquattro okay thanks I think I will side with the 100 then as I have an unleashed version and cannot adjust the size of the stock eventually might try make a paintball tank type to make it more speedy an maneuverable

I’ve got both. The SM is quieter, although obviously heavier. Depends what you want to prioritise I suppose. SB still very good

@aggr0mat144 I'm using a 10" mtw atm with a 150mm laylax carbon supressor but I can't take it apart and the silencer isn't really silencing anymore running at around 1.19j with 0.30g

@@Brychan_Llyr Well, i'm using the Hexx for my MK23. It's M16x1 CCW. Since you wanna use it on your AR, you will need M14x1 CW anyways. There are 2 versions of the M14x1. One is the regular in short/large (don't know the length of the short, but the long is around 180mm) and a width of 35mm. The other one is the XL version. It's "only" 150mm long, but got a width of 40mm. Depending on if you're running the suppressor inside your handguard (handguard longer than barrel) or not. If you are, go for the regular version in large (180mm/35mm). If not, the XL version (150mm/40mm) should be perfect. My MK23 is running around ~1j and the MK23 version of the Hexx is just 100mm/35mm. Enemies at 5m distance can't hear my shots. Maybe this will work for you as a reference point.

Hey man do you use the short hex supressor on the mtw I'm trying to find a supressor that's short and quiet for an unleashed mtw 10" and was thinking maybe it's worth grabbing the xl instead though it adds 50mm to the length compared to the short one

@maxzanders5772 have you tried longer versions to see if there's a difference as have a 10" it's quite a long gun as is but if there's a difference in sound I wouldn't mind getting a 150mm

@@Brychan_Llyr brother has the medium silverback on his 10” and it quite long. Much prefer the shorter suppressor

Just to make a small correction to this statement. The USA federal law does not outlaw the use of foam filled suppressors with Airsoft. There are a few local laws in certain areas that do not allow them. About 90 percent of the US would be fine tho.
