10 yrs together. Hardly rowed. He dumped me April 2021. Devastating. Totally floored me. It's a wonder I could go to work, it affected me so badly. Felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest! He'd found someone else....I/no one could believe it. He not only dumped me, but my family and close friends too! I Immediately went no contact, and stuck to it, as hard as it was. I didn't send one text or anything. Eventhough I was hurting so so badly. Even our dog mourned him. How can anyone be SO callous?! Anyway, ffwd 18 months and one week to the day, he got in touch! Not with me, but my dad! Spilling his guts....I loved her, is she doing OK, etc etc.... Me? I'm doing mighty fine thank you! Just about to celebrate one year with my new partner. He's so so nice, most of all, he's kind, and everyone's accepted him. Meanwhile, Mr Ex has been with 4 others, living with his elderly mother, who drives him nuts, and single Oh dear, oh dear 😅😅😅

Your growth and development is the dumper’s biggest fear. They rolled the dice that you wouldn’t improve so now it’s their loss 😂

I think it's time to just admit that they hardly ever come back. It's nice when they do, but unfortunately it's not the case most of the time. I've been in no contact for only 8 weeks with a girl I dated for only a short period of time (a few weeks) but there was a strong connection there before she broke up with me - it wasn't on bad terms. I'm realistic, I know for a fact she isn't coming back, they only do when you have a long and meaningful history with them - marriage, long term relationship, etc. Otherwise don't waste your time waiting around for them, they ain't coming back. Just focus on becoming a better version of yourself and meet other women.

I think only things my ex misses me is jobs that I do for her

Right now she is under guidance by a therapist who is convinced I am full blown narcissist and possibly even evil. I may have had narcissistic tendencies but have since worked on them for a few months. She’s blocked me on everything and even changed her phone number. Not sure what comes next. I’d like to have her back since we have a child. But I’m lost at what to believe, I know nothing of what is going on through her head or if she even loves me still or if she is looking elsewhere. I’m continuing to work on myself and trying to be brave. Hang in there everyone

My ex tried to come back like nothing happened and got mad because I rejected her... And still mad

After being married for 25 years, my wife left me and moved out. Its been one month now. Our children are devastated, now having behavior problems at school. I have done everything to try to save it. I have been working on myself as well. I have limited contact with her. I pray for marriage restoration. I will not give up on our family. This is so heartbreaking. She comes in and out of the house when she pleases, sometimes brings me food. I feel that she does love me but is confused.

This is exactly why Mn don't get married anymore....: to risky!! You will never, ever be enough.. Let them stay gone for good. They will end up alone 😃
