Yes, Warner Bros is to blame because of how desperate they were in wanting to make their cinematic universe, but we shouldn't forget that Snyder isn't a great director as everybody claims he is. Snyder still killed Jimmy Olsen for stupid reasons and wasted a perfectly good character. Snyder still killed off Dick Grayson which would make things complicated as Warner Bros wanted to have a Nightwing movie. Can't have it while the person who became Nightwing officially died as Robin. That's because Snyder's vision didn't match with Warner's vision, and instead of communicating like the adults they were they just went on their marry way thinking that nothing bad could happen. Basically my point is that it's a case where they are both at fault. Because they both didn't have the same vision despite the fact Snyder was supposed to helm the DC universe. That's why WB hired him after all.

Very true that's partly reason why MCU were able to get away with blasphemy direction and major changes to stories and characters because they didn't with C and D list characters (which is still wrong to do). You can't pull that that shit with Batman and especially Superman. The real test with MCU going to be when they reboot and X-men people are now familiar with the characters

@@yungjefe3279 I am interested to see how James Gunn's DCU plays out, however the way he's been doing things lately is absolutely atrocious. First of all, he lied multiple times about Ben Affleck wanting to direct a DCU project. Lied about Zack Snyder not being interested to continue the Snyderverse, and lied that he would never do a Superman movie. Another thing people are complaining about (and rightfully so) is that the DCU isn't even a full reboot because he's keeping everything and everyone related to The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. Projects that are apart of the DCEU. So you're getting rid of Henry Cavill as Superman (who's in his fuckin prime) and potentially the rest of the Justice League cast, but keeping all the cast members related to The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker🤦‍♂️. That is incredibly unfair and hypocritical. There's a difference between a soft reboot and a hard reboot. A hard reboot is literally getting rid of everything that came before and doing something brand new. A soft reboot is keeping everything that came before, but taking it in a different direction. The DCU is like somewhere in the middle, and that's not fair to the actors that he's getting rid of. There's a lot of other reasons to be rightfully pissed off at James Gunn, but Jody doesn't do that and decides to keep hating on Zack Snyder.

@@darthpelvis subjective. His movies still made the most money for WB. I’m all for something new, but the only ideas that Gunn provided that may be interesting are the Lanterns series and Swamp Thing. But also that’s subjective.

@@samurai-supreme I think Aquaman made the most money for WB. MoS and BvS were financially disappointing, those 2 movies showed WB that the general audience didn't like where the snyderverse was going and they were right to try and separate themselves and then reboot

@@darthpelvis cumulatively. Yes, Aquaman and WW, actually, also made money; but then, the Harley Quinn one, Shazams, WW84, Black Adam, and The Suicide Squad all lost money. WB also has a plan B which to me says they’re not 100% confident with Gunn’s ideas either. Hope his universe will be successful, but I didn’t mind Snyder’s take. WB trying to be like MCU using goofy humor didn’t work either.

@@samurai-supreme those were definitely trying to lighten the mood. Gunn's work to me is the best part of Marvel's movies and when WB saw that they couldn't figure out how to make successful movies they signed him. I think Marvel will have trouble after Gunn leaves while DC will have a come up.
