You need to take all the shavings out and go to a Linoleum floor. You can get a scrape piece. Then you only have to sweep it out and maybe mop a few times. Works Great❤❤❤❤❤

Mr Brock for the rooster name. We put linoleum on our chicken coupe floor then shavings. Made it so much easier to clean. We also painted the walls with killz paint.

We painted our treated lumber floor with KILZ interior exterior paint and primer combined. Made it so much easier to clean and sealed it from iron smells

Banana's are good for the digestion for dogs. mix some Tuna or tinned salmon in with Gunners food he will enjoy it and it is good for his joints.

Another vote for the linoleum.I had in my coop and it made it super easy to clean out. I only cleaned my coop twice a year, and it was still so easy. I used cedar shavings, and boy does it make some good compost!

Hi Brandi, hope you turkey gets better. True when you said people are saying don’t give bread to the duck. We had 3 ducks at the camp and people would feed them bread, they all died from eating the bread.

Yes, even treated lumber needs linoleum or something like that on it. If not, eventually their pee and poop will spoil it. Plus it makes it easier to clean.

dogs can smell when things are a little off (like if mold, or anything worse) growing on their dishes if you don't have the time to wash them. Some times we'll put protein in their food or on top of it (that they wouldn't eat earlier) that may grow in the heat of direct sunshine for awhile. If the outdoor dog won't eat it, he might smell something growing that we can't see. Or those pesky egg-laying insects that may incubate some kind of larvae. Even though our outdoor dogs may have stomachs made of steel it's a good thing to scrub them out even though there may not be hot water out there to do it. Maybe keep a bottle of dish soap out there with a brush. It's cheaper than a vet visit. If the dog won't eat it, it's probably ripening up for a fuzz growing on top of the rejected food. Gunner is with pigs and pigs will eat anything, but Gunner becoming the connisseur so to speak lol

We don’t use any prescription meds unless absolutely necessary , but we have used them before. Poor baby. She’s really sick. Gunner looks great. I can’t believe how big he is. Will pray for Truly. Flooring after a awhile the chics do eat the flooring which is not good especially near the door . Because most people use vinyl. Plus bacteria can grow under the flooring.

Bananas are good for dogs, so are apples minus the seeds.

Dogs can have a small amount of bananas as a treat once in awhile. It won't hurt them, as long as it's not often. Bread is worse due to all the wheat. Though brewers yeast is good for them. Just fyi, most wheat when harvested has been sprayed with an herbicide to kill it and dry it out so it doesn't gum up the machine. My dad didnt do that, when he grew wheat.
