Trans women: I'm a woman. Religious nut: No you're delusional. Also religious nut: I firmly and inherently believe that I am a literal child of god. This is inherently true about myself.

When they said being gay was wrong because Adam and Eve were man/woman, I wish someone asked “is every romantic relationship you have that’s not incest with a rib clone or an immediate sibling also sin?”

Just wanna point out. The term demon has existed before Christianity existed. Daemon, as it was formerly called, just refers to any kind of spirit. Christians, like they did with so many other things, stole and co-opted the word and made it mean something "evil." So when they're talking about being gay is demonic, all I can do is laugh.
@adaj4728 ай бұрын
Exactly. They call Halloween demonic, but both Halloween AND Christmas were Pagan holidays that the Christians stole. But now that they’ve lost control of one, suddenly they wanna give it back to the Pagans & call it evil. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually do the same with Christmas, now that the capitalism they worship in every other context has made it more secular.

I know ppl who are homophobic/transphobic yet tease their 3rd grader about crushes/having a girlfriend. This particular 3rd grader has absolutely no interest in girls (or boys) and is upset by their parent's teasing, but to these nutjobs it's a-ok to do and totally NOT pushing sexuality on kids. Make it make sense.

Literally I can only watch this particular episode with Jovan lol As a gay guy, i knew I'd get pissed off by the religious ex-gays lol You can't be an ex-gay.. if you could I wouldn't have been gay in the first place lol I was depressed repressing and feeling terrible about being gay until I just let myself be me. My Christian friends abandoned me and everyone else didn't see any issue with being gay. Being gay isn't a choice, and seeing these guys lie about "praying the gay away" pisses me off because these ex-gays give people false hope And also there's nothing wrong with being gay and living the life according to the way you were made

I feel you. I experienced a similar situation. My father told me I was cursed by a kin, which consists of forcing me to "act gay". Plus, when I saw on the Bible that I might go to hell... ? I felt disgusting, cursed, and not deserving to live. And many people laughed at me because of my "feminine" manners But once I've begun to accept the nature of my being, that's when I felt free and worthy of love. I realized that I'm not cursed nor a disgusting person. Don't have to build an image according to somebody and rule what you can really control : your life. Actually I feel like God just did anything to guide me to my personal truth. So I think those "ex-gay" people are missing a lot of points. And I noticed a lot of misconceptions spiritually speaking. From all that aside, I completely agree and sending you love. ❤

What’s so scary about these conversations is each Christian person has a different POV of what god is, what matters to god , how god judges and etc. and that is all the proof I need to know to LIVE MY LIFE in the best way fit FOR ME and my husband. Because religious psychosis is real and these people need a couple snacks

@@micaloveslimes1141 I was convinced I was possessed by a demon because I was bisexual. Why else would I be attracted to boys & girls? 😈A demon inside trying to make me do evil was perfectly acceptable conclusion because of what I was told by adults. 🫠I was so afraid someone would find out I was “half gay” (because I didn’t know what bisexual was 😭)

11:37 same!! i had crushes on people in kindergarten, except they were girls!! ... as a girl (i am a trans man, but obv didn't know that at 5) another thing to add, from the talmud (primary source of jewish religious law). i am not religious, but very interested in jewish law and mysticism. so, if i get anything incorrect, please correct me. i am not an expert in jewish law, i'm not a rabbi. the talmud defines around 6 sexes, maybe there's more, but not 100% sure. androgynous (having male and female characteristics), ay'lonit (someone born female but develops male sex characteristics), ish (male), ishah (female), saris (someone born male, but develops female sex characteristics), and tumtumin (someone whose sex is undetermined or sex is hidden). abraham and sarah were tumtumin. “Look to the rock from where you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from where you were dug / Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you” (Isaiah 51:1, 51:2). Another one, “And Sarah was barren; she had no child” (Genesis 11:30). the last verse implies that she has no womb, no way to bear children. i know judaism is very different from Christianity, but the bible developed from judaism. they have similarities. i just thought it was interesting that this text defines all these different ways that people can be. they were not condemned, the were not seen and abnormal. just a different sex.

Reject religious doctrine, embrace the value of free expression. As long as religion exists its going to keep people under the thumb of a higher being and give zealots free reign to oppress people that are less fortunate

“…he hates the sin.” Ok, bro, then why did god create sin in the first place? Like, I genuinely get so frustrated with these religious people that are so desperate for clarity and guidance that they don’t use critical thinking skills to analyze the nonsense they believe. Why did god create sin, knowing what it will be and do? They need to make it make sense.

I love being a demonic spirit lol Anyway, so many things messy in this video. You can't change your orientation. Its one thing to realize later on that you are queer or not and another to be in the closet or repress your queer feelings. Learning who you are is a journey that takes time and experience. One thing I hate about christianity is that it basically tries to take away your autonomy of how you see yourself. Especially if who you are objectively does no harm to those around you. It's extremely bizarre. When it comes to pride events and particularly parades, I do think there should be more kid oriented parades and events. Kids having safe spaces is highly important no matter what community it is. Lastly, exploring your sexuality and gender identity is so important. It doesn't mean sleep around though that can be some people's journey, it just means learning what possibilities are out there seeing if that fits you. "Am I gay, bi, ace, trans, enby" etc etc.

my thing is i believe in God from personal experience and I identify as Bi sexual but I am deconstructing I guess you could say and taking a more logical approach to why I believe what I believe as best I can at least but I just don't want to believe in something based off of a threat of damnation if I don't there is nothing on the opposing side that doesnt approve of being gay or having a homosexual lifestyle that was encouraging or affirming in any way
