then the issue comes from the pipes that spawn them. The existence of said pipes means the creator did not manually place 100 goombas, but an interesting thing to note about spawner-type objects (pipes, launchers, lakitus, etc.) is that it puts a hard limit to the total number of clear condition entities that can be spawned from a single object. I doubt the creator knows the exact number, as i dont, but the other thing to keep in mind is how the creator sets up the clear condition. "'at least' only because the big goombas can split" can only be the right sentiment if the creator was actively keeping count in some way. If they wanted it to be "all", they would have just cranked the condition counter to its maximum setting. What i am getting at is that i suspect it is more likely a mindset of "i will give some leeway, lets go to max and then remove a few", or just the simple fact that 100 is an appealing number.

@@onyxiris6451 good to know if i was technically minded enough to use it, but even then i think the cap changes depending on the entity in question and the method of spawning. for example, i had at one point considered adding a "use pows" clear condition to one of my levels just to add one more task and hint at the brevity of the level, but the pipe in question that spawned them stopped after only about 5, and the player was required to use one as a platform, so i had to remove it to de-cheese the level. Yes, i could be misremembering, but it is at least where my knowledge comes from.

To be fair he's had some really bad ones if you've been following the series Out of 640ish completed Levels, every single one of his videos has a bad Level or two thrown in - so I wanna say at least 25% of Levels are bad (which is still a large margin it's just mitigated by the sheer number of Levels he's cleared)

by that logic, why is yoshi born as an adult? (Paper mario TTYD is the only game i can think of that shows a true newborn yoshi, but the side series aspect can complicate matters.) No, he isnt "born" from the egg, he just takes up residence in one. The best comparison i can make is hermit crabs, though some pokemon logic would probably help the case as well. Genie in a lamp, maybe? what i am getting at is that the egg interior is furnished with whatever a yoshi needs as furniture, and upon leaving the egg to assist mario, he puts on his shoes like any civilized creature.
