I'm facing this dilemma right now... For not much more, I could get a nice enclosed trailer (and I would way rather have an enclosed trailer). However - an enclosed trailer doesn't fold up and store out of the way (which I need)...

What about road rash from the truck? Did you see any damage on the bikes?

Have this trailer as well. They are awesome in their versatility and construction. Also had the same experience, the tail lights and license plate are a annoying design oversight, so much so that I relocated the plate and run low profile lights because replacing them got to be a cost not worth continuing to pay.only thing I don't have is the ramp, and Kendon wants a fortune for just that piece one (it must be made of pure unobtanium for the price they're asking) and so instead bought a generic ramp that works well enough. Great trailer, with a few design flaws and outrageous add on costs.

Hey man! Anything close to the sisters is going to be safe. It's quite a bit off the beaten path so crime is very low
