I've not long picked up this channel, as all of the teachings are important . I know this as a non American , who's been able to do these teachings , in practice . The land , speaks in many ways , as does the sun which is talking to us during the current solar cycle - hence the beautiful sunrise and sunsets , we've been able to enjoy .

So many people don't care about their children anymore. They let them be raised by the Internet and don't question what they are being taught in school. Add to that abuse, neglect and sadly in some cases homicide. The breakdown of the family is the breakdown of civilization and we see it played out every day. 😑 Thanks for your words sir. 🙏🌄🌈

As far as known, I have no true Native American lineage, but it's wonderful to know that these stories and ancient teachings are being documented. I would consider it a massive loss to have them disappear without being historically recorded for future generations.

Awareness gives you time to teach. The key is to teach, and continue teaching. Teach by example. Teach by discussion. Teach by humor. Teach by listening and guiding. Teach learning. Teach awareness. Teach thinking for oneself. Teach to be always thinking. Emotions without thought are useless.

For my brothers and sisters from another mother... please start growing your own food if you haven't started to do so already. This fall is going to be a human initiated disaster that will cause our food to be too expensive for those of us at the bottom of the earnings scale to afford. I have searched as many of the Native American sites on KZfaq to learn about what is coming and how to take care of my family and my community. The Navajo have see it all and can grow food despite the on going circumstance. Please start today and learn all you can about regenerative farming. Save yourselves and don't rely on others to feed you.

Situational awareness is especially important in our country today, right now. Head on a swivel 24/7. Pull your head out of your phone and look, pay attention to what is going on around you and who is in your proximity. This Could save your life or the life of someone you love

it is very important to know how your kids think and feel protecting them is more then just providing food and stuff like that i saw in the news a number of boys that died of their own hands because of relentless bulling people thought my mom was over protective of me and my sibling because she homescholled us back in the 90s now people urge anyone that can do this the schools are stilling the minds of our kids

Yes. I grew up in an area with many snakes. Rattlers and water moccasins and others that were not venomous. We were taught at a very young age what they looked like, what to do if we encountered one and how to avoid one. How to tell the difference between them as well. In this way, because of these teachings I was very free as a child to explore and enjoy nature on my own. It continued into adulthood as well. I only wish that my parents had taught me as much about human snakes, who are venomous, how to recognize them, what to do about them and how to avoid them. I had to learn those things on my own, which I hope I finally have. I warn my children and grandchildren about the human snakes and what I've learned. ♾

I have an attention deficit. Maybe because I used a lot to waste my time. I started practicing awareness, at work, and home, since my mind was so miserable wandering in frustration and hateful thinking behaviour. As simple as it sounds being aware is hard sometimes, especially in challenging situations. My hate reactions especially disturb my little awareness. Sometimes I want to quit but up until now also awareness has helped me figure out how to deal with challenging situations. Not to mention I start seeing a little my flaws. Thank you sir for your words.

These things have been continuously drilled into me from family. I'm very aware it's imperative to listen. It's also imperative when you listen they too need to listen to you as well. Look, be patient, pay attention, and carefully look. Think carefully with your thoughts so you don't speak carelessly to say something distasteful that hurts people you speak to or who you care about. Also, so you don't make mistakes in an important situation. Stay calm, in a stressful situation it's important to stay calm because we may react unrationally, which can be a problem. These things drilled into my head from when I was young. I'm grateful for these teachings from family 😊❤
