Have Mike check out all the cool attachments you can make for your Anvil! I bought my grampa's for $75 after he passed away, the memories alone are priceless! I have made alot of my own specialty shapes as well for doing bodywork & shaping metal. Forging metal is way cool too, quick store an older gunsmith friend of Grampas stopped by the shop when I was probably 7 & had a bratty little butter ball about 9 in 3rd grade... rude & disrespectful was an under statement, any who he just picked up a hammer & started whaling on everything! Grampa calmly swapped him for an old straight claw & escorted him outside..... as we followed to see what was afoot, "you see all that old farm equipment out there? You can go pound on things to your hearts content! He looked at his own gramps & he told him "knock yourself out!" We could hear him really getting after it using both hands. Then all the sudden the banging stopped, His gramps & mine desided it would probably be prudent to go check on him... so they sent ME! 😂 I hollered & they both came a running, dont recon he's dead I said (you could see his belly moving) Gramps asked me to go get a coffee can with water, as they checked him over cracking jokes once they seen he was going to be alright... just stunned. You see he desided to take a swing at a hard truck tire with 90psi & the dull claws left 2 nice divots at his hair line, didn't leak much as proof it wasn't a vital area for him. They woke him up & the whole time cracking jokes... "Good thing it didn't hit anything important that you mint miss" "Ya know I kinda like his new demeanor, self laboromized, quiet & even tolerable now, mint enjoy the new & improved version" I knew I wasn't allowed to poke fun of him but dang it was funny! Something about self culling the stupid ones out ect. His G later said even his mom liked the changes but it was short lived since she spoiled him rotten! Gramps would always ask me... "so what did we learn?" Give a dumb kid a hammer & tell him to knock himself out really works & don't pick a fight with something or someone that's tougher & or smarter than you are! PS the square hole in the top of most anvils is designed for tooling to drop into.

The whole truck build is based on the drink holders, because you need the drink for thirst and putting out fires, therefore they must fall easy to hand. Gear sticks can be bent to suit what ever space is available.

You guys are crushing it this episode! Dueling grease gun action, fuel gauge cleaned,irrelelephant, mr giggles, and some of the most cautious driving I’ve ever witnessed by you guys was done getting ol blue out of the shop, and then the cherry on top of a 1/4 mile run with sheriff as judge!! Played like a best of!!!

This is what we want. Time to see what these girls are made of, literally. I always thought the gear leavers were a bit tight to the dash. Now Mike has adapted them, they look right. And again Mike saves the day welding that was it, engine mount or suspension, don't work on any American vehicles here in UK. I just love watching these guys do their work and enjoy what they get up to while doing it. Thanks for the visit to the shop, and all that entails.
