Magnus Carlsen won the FIDE Candidates' Tournament in London on Monday after a bizarre finish of what has become a historic event for chess. Both the Norwegian and the other leader, Vladimir Kramnik of Russia, unexpectedly lost their game in the final round, and so they remained tied for first place and Carlsen won on the second tie-break rule: higher number of wins. This means that in the next title match, World Champion Viswanathan Anand will face Carlsen. On the last day Levon Aronian of Armenia beat Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan while Boris Gelfand of Israel and Alexander Grischuk of Russia drew their game.

It went like this: The guy to the right tried flirting with the lady but failed depressingly, then Levon Aronian flirting with some jokes and made the guy look like a pawn. It was working until... MY MAIN MAN BORIS "MR STEAL YOUR GIRL", "IM SEXY AND I KNOW IT" GELFAND CAME IN WITH THAT LOOK IN HER EYE, DRINKING, DIDN'T NEED TO SPEAK, CAUSE SHE KNEW BORIS GELFAND WAS THE KING.

Hey Agad, another great video as usual. I've been thinking with Ivanchuck's losses due to time trouble, what about some clocks showing how much time was used/is left. Since we always see hour long games in about 15mns, it might be interesting to know how much time these elite players need to play the moves that we, being the greatest players on earth, only need seconds to discover and thoroughly analyze.

Hi Agad I made a KZfaq account to tell you that this chess channel has inspired me so much that I've gotten a chess coach to start getting better. While I'm really bad and have only been playing for a month (~1100 elo) my coach is a chess master and I believe that with this channel and other resources I can get much better :) keep up the good work

Hello friend what a well done well run channel thumbs up! One point knowledge is mostley a drop in comparison to whle set of information. An obsarvation I watch many games you show my view is that Carlsen is alwyas palnning the end game and makes thoses moves in his head long before they are actually on the board.

Hey man i love your videos and your channel keep up the good work the only thing i would like to mention is that in 4:50 you said that its better to capture with the queen. Thats wrong because after all the trades when white queen is on d5 square black can play Rd8 and win a rook coz queen cant move somewhere and protect the rook on d1 at the same time!
