Just bought a set of these and have to agree with the “reviewers” who found the difficulty in twisting does not follow the color coding. In my set yellow is substantial easier to twist than tan. I suspect this is some type of quality control issue. I don’t see this as a problem if you buy the whole set as you can pick the one you want (start with the easiest). It might be a problem for someone buying them one at a time.

Love the yellow flexbar . But I lost it. I’m low on money and found the red on sale at a very affordable price on Amazon. Is there a huge difference between yellow and red for the Tyler Twist ? The yellow one helped my pain in one session. I’d had 6 months or more of tennis elbow. So that amazed me . These things are AMAZING! Thank you 😊

I've had excruciating pain in my left elbow for 6 weeks now. I stumbled on these two recently and their exercises and cross fiber massage are really starting to help. I do heavy manual labor daily and this tennis elbow is driving me crazy as I can't do my work and I am not one to sit around and let it heal. I'm going to continue these exercises for another week and then off to the doctor and see if I need a cortisone shot.

i was told to only use the band when doing an unavoidable task that may stress it, (at work) for rehab exercises i believe you'd be okay to not use it as you get more tendon function (more blood flow) .but if your unsure it wouldn't hurt you to keep it on during rehab. i however dont

To tennis players: if you have pain in elbow, or anywhere else in your arms, or shoulders, it is due to extremely incorrect Amateur (beginner) Stroke technique. Amateurs "arm it" when they play tennis. Professional and correct stroke never uses arm to play tennis: part from elbow down to fingertips never Actively plays any tennis, it only holds the raquet. Any active movement of the wrist (rotation, pronation, flexion, etc) is medically very damaging and will result in elbow pain. Yes, Active Wrist movement in tennis results in elbow pain. Hint: professionals and correct strokes use: 1. Legs, 2. Torso, 3. Torso-shoulders, 4. Shoulders to play tennis. Arm is just like flexible string. MMA fighters call it "Rubber Leg". Rubber Arm has "no muscles" - you do not need muscles in the arm, no need to move arm actively. Hard to believe, but it is true. If you do not understand my hints here, your pain will only get worse. No "better raquets", no "elbow aids, wrapps, treatments" will help you, because you will continue to hurt yourself with extremely incorrect stroke technique.

Guys not trying to be argumentative but I bought a flex bar just like those you are recommending after having tennis elbow for 2 years. It did not help at all. What healed it finally did was wearing the band around where it was hurting every day all day. Plus diclofenac sodium (prescription anti inflammatories) for 3 months. Thanks for the effort.

There is some truth to that. Overuse injuries are beasts to heal. In my own experience this has what healed my elbow: 1. Stopping the movement that caused it. 2. Releasing and lengthening the muscle and tendon by self-massage (see tenniselbowclassroom.com for exact instructions 3. Eccentric strengthening of the forearm 4. strengthening muscles groups above the elbow (rotator cuff and middle/lower traps) in order to strengthen the kinetic chain involved in the movement. 5. Making sure all joints above elbow are mobile. 6. Return to activity and strictly monitor your time that you do your activity. Hopefully over time your time will increase. It's a tough road to healing a worn out tendon. If in doubt go to a PT that will not only treat your elbow pain but will examine every joint involved in the movement that caused the elbow pain and then build a new foundation of muscle movement that will support your elbow tendon and not let it get overused again.
