This is amazing! I never payed much attention for openings. But yesterday I just learned this opening from you. I'm a beginner and I'm using it to annihilate other beginners now Lol :) 😂.. My rapid rating is 865 but I just had the best game ever with no mistakes, misses, inaccuracies or blunders! The first game didn't go as planned as I didn't quite understand this opening, but the following games were incredible!. this opening puts you in a great position and with focusing and avoiding mistakes it's nearly unstoppable for beginners or maybe even intermediate players. 4 knights opening against Jobova London's fried liver-style variation leads to an even game with the e pawn shoved in the bishop's face. Shove that e-pawn out! I'd love to see a match between Chess Vibes and Alex here, Chess Vibes is a big believer in the 4 knights defense and I'm not convinced he's wrong...

This opening is very good. For once I had a plan in a game chess and opponents simply collapsed (at my level...).

I got taught that in Queens pawn openings if white chooses not to play the queen's gambit, then black should play a queen's gambit, so in this position I would play 2. c5 and it's a bit like playing against chigorin defence a tempo down. Is it good?

I haven't had much luck with it. Seems like 'hope ' chess. Black c6 or a6 on move 3 seems to equalize pretty quickly and then white has a misplaced knight on c3 for a while. My 1100 opponents NEVER play Nc6 on move 3

At 3:38 you talk about trading pieces and go Ne5. Why not go dxe5 followed by ng5 to fork the Queen and remaining rook. At that point, the most likely outcome is a resignation.

How to defend Queen takes b2 when long castling is not an option.

@6:40 Instead of 22.Qxg7 picking up the Rook but prolonging the game it's mate in 3 with either 22.Qd7+ Kf8 23.Rc8+ Nxc8 then Qe8 mates or if 23..Ne8 then 24.Rxe8 and Qxe8 mates and finally 2 mate in 4 if 23..Qd8 then 24. Rxd8+ Ne8 then both 25.Qe8 and Rxe8 mates. Much faster than what was shown but hey, I really enjoy your stuff. Both London variations, the Caro-Kann series and now the Slav Defense.

The only way to get mated in the 800-1800 range with the jobava is to seriously blunder more than once. Although I just played against a 1900 and he fell for the Rd8# in 10 moves all because he opened with d6

Nc6 blocks my c pawn and allows Nb5, similar to the fried liver attack, so best avoided. e6 preparing Bb4 - O-O is probably best; downside: blocks the QB, but there's plenty of time to fix that. If you play a3-b4, chasing the B, you open up the queenside, when white's long-term plan is O-O-O with a kingside attack, and my B ends up nicely placed on b6. So you aren't going to do that, and your N stays pinned while I threaten Ne5. These "magical" opening lines are all unsound, and even a beginner can calculate 2-3 moves. Best advice for beginners is to pick one opening as white and study it thoroughly, either the QGD, or the Ruy Lopez, and one defence against the most common openings: King's Indian against d4, Sicilian aganst e4. I'm not titled, but a fairly decent club player, and a normal sound opening will win against lower-rated players most of the time, without fancy trickery.
