I think there are several things that put y’all above the competition. First, you clean the rug with vacuuming and the rug beater machine. You have a grid system that drains the dirty water away instead of it sitting in dirty water. The game changer is that wash tub! Man, that was a really dirty rug!

Right!!!!! I honestly hate the video where the dirty water sits under the carpet, in turn making the carpet even dirtier. Then they will flip in over making the other side dirtier. It really makes no sense why all carpet cleaners don’t have the grid system

Let me express my appreciation for you NOT adding background music to this. There are many other cleaning channels that insist on doing that, which I find completely unnecessary, but some of them take it a step farther and use the same music on every episode, over and over and over… Drives me up the wall after a while. This is a breath of fresh air. :)

I've seen other rug cleaning channels let the rug sit on a tiled floor or whatever and then see them brush or squeegee the rug only to discover that a lot of the dirt and grime end up on the underside of the thing which is not ideal. I really like the way your workplace has a drain underneath. Good job!

maybe put a macro lens on before and after images - the dye in these rugs does all kinds of things, but it looks like the dwell water includes your dye stabilization which is good!

Love this slow speed content the sped-up stuff just isn't the same lol Wow I love that she told y'all history of the rug and table, dang wish we could hear it without your client being doxxed or w/e. That rug is gorgeous and looks so tightly woven, real quality. I got a rug from ross a few years ago and its been rolled up because nowhere will clean it because its cheap fiber or something they say it will melt I didn't know when I got it lol good rugs are hard to find.

Rug cleaning obviously consumes a huge amount of water. QUESTION 1> Is any of the waste water recycle-able? Or does it all go into your town's sewer system? QUESTION 2> Is the high volume and pressure from your rinse nozzle as-is from the water main? Or do you have a reserve tank onsite and then boost up the pressure to deliver so much out the nozzle? THANKS!

I don't get it...its a family heirloom and yet they let their pets go to the bathroom on it???? OR was it in storage in the garage and then animals got to it? Great job ADVANCED CLEANING!

Those were my same thoughts, why would you allow the pets to use it as a toilet if it were an heirloom. Or have it in a common area like the dining area where it would be subject to ongoing wear and tear.

If they have little dogs, they just kind of do what they want. Same with cats. I had to throw out an area rug because my cat would pee on it at night when nobody was around to stop her. Id spot clean it and bleach it every time (it was white) and she would just keep doing it. Finally i just tossed it. Wasnt worth the fight.

It is not that you let them…it just happens. Especially when you have a small, elderly dog. And my yorkie is sneaky! The minute my back is turned she starts trouble. Lol. I have a pretty elaborate system on cleaning it up but sometimes you don’t catch it on time. Besides, I love my dogs more than more floors. I don’t have any beautiful antique rugs tho.

Just wondering.. If you put the rug in the centrifuge, there is first brown water/soap comming out the machine. Is this still dirt/dirty water? So, do you rinse again?

We rinse until it comes through clear which is about 7 minutes

Ugh ew! An old family heirloom rug and you let animals piss all over it??? Ugh nasty!!!! At least she is having it cleaned by the best in the business but it you take care of something that precious to begin with you wouldn't need these guys. Thats awfully gross and heart breaking 💔. Thank you guys for restoring this masterpiece and washing away the utter disrespect that was allowed to happen to it.

Lovely rug, but why do their dogs pee on it? In the 13yrs we’ve had our dogs, they have NEVER peed in the house! They were trained as puppies to ask to go out, so this is either lack of training or laziness. If we are out for a long time, we ask family or neighbours to let them out. Such a shame on such an old beautiful rug. 😮

You could buy a rug for that price. Yes. But this was a very high quality family heirloom. For $702 you're not going to get a rug that's going to be handed down for 3 generations or more. For $702 you'll pick up a rug they may last you for 15-20 years if you're careful with it. You can't put a price on quality. You get what you pay for. I have a Persian rug here that belonged to my great grandmother and it will be passed down to several of the next generations. You couldn't do that with a rug from Target. Also $702's a cheap price to pay for preserving family memories.
