I mean for the audience who dont get it. Me too for some parts 😅. If nichijou is about some JAPANESE COMEDY, Shikanoko is about POP CULTURE! Lots of them. Dark Souls, Tokyo Ghoul unravel, Tokyo Revengers Mickey, Sayori DDLC hanging scene, Detective Conan, Kamen Rider, etc. For me, i didn't know the kamen rider part but now i know because i read some comment about that SHIKANOKO JOKES are actually easier to know than nichijou because it's for everyone to recognize. Even for nonjapanese. BUT it's like.. a lot. So diverse. Lots of pop culture references.

I feel this is one of those shows you watch just for the silly/craziness of it all. There's no big plot, at least not yet from what I've seen. You just come by to relax, enjoy the outlandishness of what they do and not worry about what's possible or not. It reminds a little of another show, FLCL. Now that show was unhinged, lol.

Deer and moose live in the woods, they use trees to scratch themselves and do not care much for them being in their way when they walk. You also need to remember the difference in building styles, but it's not exactly rare to see a deer just running through a glass window and tearing up a place in northern USA either.
