Trying to experience everything makes me exhausted. There are some situations that leave me drained and which I regret getting involved in. Glad to say I've never had a fear of missing out.

I agree! Most people think a life worth living or a "good life" is one full of experiences and seeing everything. But you will never be able to truly experience everything and the amount of pressure you're putting yourself under seems unnecessary to me. I just want to enjoy life. Not to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Shyt wish i had parents they bounced on me and my brother left us with grandma.. Only time i seen em was at like family partys here and there i tried to go and talk to em but it was always just awkward small talk and silence until one of us just walked away with an excuse like "i gotta go to the backroom" or "let me go get my phone" "did somebody call me" until i just let it go and stopped trying to have a relationship with em

And so people differ. Some would do anything to miss all that for a quiet day/evening at home.

That's a great advice. I have social anxiety and I always plan to go to events and then never go. Or I overthink about it

I remember this feeling so much so and I know part of it remains still, despite my personal growth. You got this whoever you are!!!! Change can happen in an instant.

Same. I have anxiety but slowly am getting over it. The only way to overcome it is to face it.

One needs to live like this for a while in order to realize they aren’t missing anything.

But to a certain degree you are right because if you always act as if you have to go somewhere you will always feel something missing in your mind and heart

Spoken from the heart, but this is from a time when there was no internet, and live events were few and far between. Today this only results in FOMO, and subsequently anxiety. Today it is of utmost importance to be able to choose and filter out.

Yes. Don't miss anything. Go enjoy life! Experience everything. You like or don't like, we only know after experiencing it. I like that.

Stop focusing on the news Stop caring about the status quo Stop rushing through life Stop routinely repeating bad habits We’re all so focused looking onward for fulfillment, but God and the beauty of His creation has resided within us the whole time. Stop your mind from jumping to conclusions Stop allowing your mind to dictate way of being Stop pretending like anyone has any idea of what they’re doing and take steps forward towards your dreams today. I should warn you if you’re still reading that your dreams and love and fulfillment are from God. Humble yourself, reach out in earnest, and be rewarded accordingly. Amen 🙏🏼 You can mock me but please do not mock God.

You cant be everywhere all the time.. my parents taught me.. do whatever you want to do by not demeaning other people, by not disrespecting them, by not making them feel worthless. That is the best you can experience.
