One of if not the best ride of 2024. I had to stop and take a moment to reflect on what I just rode. Absolute cinema out here in the PNW.

Beautiful video and views. I’ll be heading there the end of June. I’ll be on an ebike but just wondering what the climb is like to get to this trail entrance. What was your route. Please share if you can. Thank you

Hey! I'm posting the same info from another comment... I climbed "Old Ranch Road" for all three laps. First one was Old Ranch Road -> Little Moab (I went up a little higher than the actual trail entrance). Second lap was Old Ranch Road -> Atwood Road -> Hidden Canyon (hidden canyon isn't actually called that on the trail. There was a sign at the start with a different name but I can't remember it). Third lap was Old Ranch Road -> Little Maui. Timp Peak battery did great! I believe I had 30ish% left after three laps. I mostly road Eco because the old ranch road climb is quite tedious with all the loose rocks. Sometimes I put in trail mode to boost up the steep parts but mostly chilled in Eco. Hope this helps!

Ahh yes, little Moab, a proper rock garden in the PNW. Never ridden it, but want to. I have family in Vancouver so I visit at least once a year. I do find the name kinda funny as it really looks more like a trail you'd see in the Colorado foothills (where I live and ride) rather than Moab itself.

“Little CO” would be a cool name too! It’s definitely worth a ride. I really like how you can get as close to the edge as you want but you can also make it a pretty chill track while still enjoying the view

They're so sick! LOTS of hikers but I actually didn't mind because they're not trails I wanted to smash down, I'd rather stop to look up and enjoy the views.

Hey Corbin great ride as always.. thanks. A couple of questions for you 1. Can you share your route/trails? I’m planning on heading over there at the end of June. 2. How did your Tim Peake do battery wise? Did you have enough juice to do a full loop. Did you use Eco most of the time or did you use some trail as well?

Hey Chaz! How's the recovery been? If I remember correctly you had a pretty bad crash and broke your arm yeah? 1. Hey Corbin thanks. Always appreciate the responses… Yeah, I got a couple buddies coming up from California. We’re going to meet there at Sinclair ride for the day. And they’re coming up to the Seattle area for about a week , we will do a bunch of riding. I think you were thinking of somebody else with the broken arm. I did OTB on ride the entrance to lightning a few weeks back. But I was able to conquer it after watching your video. Next challenge is the big gap drop-down on RTL… you made it look easy after you hit it

What a cool trip for your buddies to experience WA trails vs. CA. I've seen some videos of Cali riding and it seems MUCH different. No injuries from the RTL OTB? entrance is pretty burly lol but I'm glad you got it conquered! Someone helped me out in the FB group. They mentioned the super far right line and that was my ticket. For the gap, I treated it more as a high speed drop with a little pop than an actual jump. it's like a drop/step down, kinda awkward but few cranks after the last turn and no brakes. Best of luck!

@MTB_Corbin I'm starting to get back in to mountain biking myself. I'm a big guy though and winter hit hard with ankle injuries so I'm starting out slow again sadly. But it's better than nothing I suppose.

@@MTB_Corbin yep, we just lost Sixth Sense forever :( It was my favorite trail through original old-growth, too. The local Evergreen MTB Alliance already has plans on what to build next! At Yacolt, we still have Thrillium (world-class gnarly), Cold Creek (solid Blue), and a new, improved Murphy's Grade to make up for losing Sixth Sense.
