I feel like everybody is misunderstanding what happened here. Chapman was on work furlough as an inmate. He was allowed to leave prison to work for the employer they’ll be working for upon release. The issue here is that he was held at work later than he was supposed to and when he got back to the prison they didn’t allow him Re-entry since he was late returning FROM employment that day. It happens wayyy too often and it’s disgusting.

Sounds like a bunch of family hoopla. Hope you find your happiness. You can always make your own family. But do consider the idea of maybe just viewing them as the character they are and just accepting it. In psychology you learn that you can't fully change things by separation from, you can only change things by consistent communication. He plays an aggressive guy that might be egotistical in many ways. But there is always something family wise that you can feel good from even with complete mindset differences. If it seems to much to do then don't do it till you feel comfortable for your type of conversation. Stay safe, and find your happiness.

The funniest part is Dog is an ex-Felon there are episodes where they talk about how he can't do certain things because of his felony, for example the reason why Dog doesn't have a gun is because Dog can't legally be in possession of one, that's why there are promos of him holding a paintball gun. iirc there are episodes where he participates in SWAT raids and the whole time he's holding a paintball gun.

This doesn't even scratch the surface. Like how he was, himself, convicted of first-degree murder (as the driver, but still). Like how he talks about tackling an escapee in prison, and the praise he got inspiring him to become a bounty hunter. Like how he was the warden's barber in prison (just look at that glorious mane). Like how he told his son that he couldn't date a black woman, not because they had anything against black people (he stressed), but because they liked to use racial slurs ("but not in, like, a bad way") and were afraid of getting canceled. Like how HE JUMPED BAIL IN MEXICO after going there and illegally kidnapping a fugitive since Mexico doesn't license bounty hunters. He jumped bail! And he got caught! By his own criteria, he is one of the "bad guys" - one of the "stupid bad guys" even!

Dog the Bounty Hunter lived in the area I grew up as a kid and I was working as a bus boy in a sushi restaurant in highschool, my older brother was a server there. Dog the Bounty Hunter came to the restaurant all the time and one time he wasn't served immediately because we were busy and his wife threw a huge scene yelling at the wait staff, the customers, and the manager. dog pulled his unreasonably sized truck onto the sidewalk in front of the restaurant and began threatening the wait staff, which consisted of teenagers and a nice old asian man. they are all incredibly unhinged and delusional.

Dog is completely full of it. For anyone wondering, his criminal record is a joke and he is NOT a "hardened killer" like he pretends to be. When he was 15 years old, he joined a motorcycle club. Him and at least one other person drove to buy weed. Dog sat in the car while another person left the car to buy the weed. Something happened during the sale, and the other person ended up killing someone. Dog was sentenced to first degree murder essentially because he was physically there. His prison sentence was only 5 years, which is completely insane for how light it was, and he only served 18 MONTHS. Dog plays it up like he was running around with Hell's Angles selling meth and murdering people, when the reality is that he was moronic child who joined a club and one of his friends killed someone while he Dog sat in the car. During his 18 months in prison, Dog claims the warden told him to become a bounty hunter because Dog tackled an inmate that was trying to escape. From what i can find, there is no proof this ever happened. The real reason Dog is a bounty hunter? His dad was an accomplished bounty hunter. Dog is literally just a nepo baby who dresses like a wannabe biker because that's exactly what he is. So why is Dog on TV with this huge career? Dog got extremely famous for a very short amount of time when he captured a super high profile serial r*pist. TV producers saw how completely unhinged and insane Dog looked on TV when the news reported on the capture of the r*pist, and immediately set him up with a development deal. Dog is a phony. His entire persona is a scam and he is a moron. And from what i can tell, he really does believe in the nonsense he spews. He really thinks he is helping people by ruining their lives, which i think makes him a worse person.

Ok, so here's what he did from what I understood. He stayed 10 years in prison and obeyed every rule, then he started working during his time (I have no idea how this works I'm not an American), and he was supposed to return to the prison in a certain time. But his employer made him work overtime, so he was late. And since he was late the prison guards didn't allow him to go back and serve his sentence. Because of that he got another 10 years on top of that, so he didn't return. And what happened after that is in the video.

sadly, i wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this dude offed himself after going through something like this. for anyone who’s never been locked up, just TRY to imagine the actual feeling of someone with a family who loves them doing 9 out of a 10 year sentence in state prison…and all of a sudden, instead of only one year before he would be able to go home to his family, he’s DOING 11 MORE YEARS. truth be told, i don’t know that i would be able to continue living if it were me.

The fish thing at the end really confused me. Nobody thinks that leaving a fish on the sand and waiting potentially hours for the tide to come in is the best way to release it back into the wild. My guess is that they borrowed the fish from someone for the sake of a poorly constructed metaphor and had to return it...

Dog was partially filmed in my home town (he spent some time in Colorado and some time in Hawaii on the show), and the place that he got his “bounties” from, Mary Ellen’s Bail Bonds, is a couple of blocks away from Lauerkrauts from DDD. This town’s only claim to fame is tv personalities. Also Dog would show up to town events like the 4th of July and sign autographs. Wild man

Da Kine Bail Bonds here in Hawaii was also close to my place just a few blocks away too. Went to his bail bonds closing and Dog was meeting his local fans, shaking hands, taking pictures, and casually talking to us. Him and his sons were bringing bottled water for those who were outside in the sun waiting in line which was nice of him. And this was all even with Beth having cancer, she really wanted to come out and see the storefront and the fans, but she passed a few weeks later

My understanding of the law regarding "bounty hunters" is, if you can successfully capture poor people with unpaid debts, overstayed visas, violated paroles, ect., and you never make the mistake of targeting people with money or status, and the local P.D. likes you and actually wants to work with you, you're essentially good to go.

Can one US citizen not infringe upon the rights of another US citizen, or can ONLY governmental / federal bodies infringe on a US citizen's rights?
@TheDanorte
@TheDanorte 2 жыл бұрын
@@mainstream2226 Regarding the 1st amendment, it only prohibits the state (congress) from doing so. I'll quote the text, it's very explicit. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." A citizen can infringe the rights of another, but regarding freedom of speech, a citizen has no reasonable way of shutting down another's free speech. If force is used, then it's physical assault at the least.. But If a citizen or business has a public platform and they prohibit you from speaking on said platform, it's not limiting your free speech. Because the owners of said platform aren't obligated to give you air time. On the other hand, if you have a private business and refuse to service someone else based on race, religion, sexual orientation or status, then you are infringing on the person rights. There are laws making it illegal to turn down services based on those conditions.

Fun fact Duane Chapman (Dog) only did 15 months of a 5 year sentence when he was in the car waiting for a friend to buy weed, and his friend, instead, ended up murdering a 69 year old man. As for his "Biker Gang", he was a member of the Devil's Disciples which are not recognized by the American Motorcycle Association as a legal bike club, and thus they are considered an "Outlaw" club.
