So after watching this a few things I felt Patrick could have been more specific or iterated on: 1. The total length of his quarantine before he began staying with his family again? (Obviously he mentioned he was in the hospital for 3 to 4 days but I'm talking about afterwards. Did he wait 1 week or 2 before moving back in with them) 2. Does he wear a facemask or some sort of cover when he is around his family? (You know because he doesn't know if he is spreading the virus or is contagious even after he feels better. You know this virus is so unknown it's good to question this. Also many people have been shown to be asymptomatic ) 3. Did anyone else close to him get tested such as his girlfriend or family members? (He mentioned he was with his girlfriend before ending up in the hospital and a nurse friend. What about family members. Was this not an option? Did no one question or ask about this) 4. Did he throughly or aggressively clean his sisters home and his own after the ordeal? 5. Also is he practicing social distancing in his home such as staying in his room and carefully moving around the house? 6. Has he gone outside for any reason since the testing positive? I.e . Groceries shopping or gas station? Also what precautions did he take if and when he went outside? Face covers? Gloves? 7. How were the blood sugars after you felt you had overcome the virus? Did they take a long time to stabilize? 8. Do you have any major health issues after leaving the ICU and quarantine such as heart palpitations or such that you have to monitor? Maybe you can post follow up responses. Also feel free not to answer any of these questions if you feel they are too invasive. By the way thanks for sharing.

The fact is everyone including us has to take this virus with a grain of salt. At the end of the day there are different contributing factors to this disease, and certain generalizations can be made when factoring in "age and demographics." First, most seniors unless very healthy whom are seventy and over will experience problems. Second, if you experience substantial pulmonary disease or kidney failure, which effects you then this will result in complications. However, as for most diabetics the main group that experienced complications had to do with type-2's, and most people are aware that this variation is mostly a condition, and not a disease that is a result of overeating, and diet in which the body does not produce enough insulin due to weight. In the case of Covid-19 the key for a diabetic to survive in 90% of most cases is to experience well-controlled diabetes, and unfortunately in my opinion that would mean an A1C in the 4-.6.0% range barring no other health issues or complications which means you do not smoke. Last, you need to maintain this kind of A1C for months/if not years to enjoy any long lasting side effects. However, most people do not realize that even those who are "seemingly" healthy die because it isn't only health but why in some cases the immune response is hyperactive which causes massive inflammation of the body - this has to be mitigated.

Viruses all use RNA to transcript copies to make organelles work for them (reverse transcriptase). Bacteria have DNA. That’s why bacteria can function in their own and viruses have to have a host cell to replicate.
