Pro tip for dps players: if you win, it’s because you carried. If you lose, it’s because your team threw even though you played perfectly. If you go negative and lose, the game never happened.

Btw, when u got that speed boost when u left, it was because u boosted off of the height (the spawn door) before it connected to the ground U couldnt ult in the grav because grav lifts u a bit, and the way their ult works is that u slam the ground, so just treat it as a shatter

A few years ago they made it so shatter worked in grav, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same for venture soon

@@ragulanchandrasegaran2970 I agree that venture is overtuned, that doesn't mean that hard counters like grav in it's current state are a good way to go. I'd much rather see a damage number nerf, such as 120dmg per strike instead of 130 so that 250hp targets can escape more frequently. Keeping the grav interaction the way it currently is would also reinforce the counterswap issue, as tanks would start going zarya all the time to counter venture, and we shouldn't promote counterswap.

I doubt it would be part of it but if they do plan on updating Reapers kit to be more modern i hope his Wraith becomes just a mist of black instead of the silhouette of him and it go in 3rd person like Venture... just Quality of Life upgrade IMO and the Teleport isn't as visible and LOUD.

Overall I think Venture is about the most balanced new hero out-of-the-box as you can roll or get rolled about equally, but the ult is almost too punishing. 25m of range is kind of insane, so part of me thinks they should nerf the range to 15-20m and then maybe make the cone a tiny bit wider (given it's a cone and thus directional) to maintain the high risk high reward aspect of Venture's gameplay. The ult can still be punishing but Venture has to get in closer for it to be more effective. Otherwise I can't think of anything else to really do to the character before they hit the game in a few weeks.

Agreed completely! You have a good idea to push the ult to a closer range so it's more likely you can fight against it.. like Reaper ult style. Otherwise, the character feels pretty balanced to me. And you can still damage Venture in the digging animation too which is good.

I literally been telling people! Ults are literally EVIL when you combine them!! People don’t realize that who didn’t play Overwatch 1 Zarya grav with Junkrat tire was always one of my FAVORITES! It’s so dangerous!! Their ult is good by itself a little but combining their ult with a Zarya or even Rein is SOOOO deadly! OW gets a big W for this one. They have been cooking this season!

The only thing that feels “off” about Venture is their range and then Tectonic Shocks damage to range ratio. Venture can only hit within 19 meters. Going over 20 meters stops you from dealing damage but their Ult can hit up to 35 meters and hits for 150 with no fall off, if I remember correctly (might have to rerun the numbers) Overall Venture is a very great addition to the roster, they are unique and finally we have another “melee” based hero.

Venture is easily the most fun hero they’ve added in a long time. Way better than illari, wifeleaver and mauga. The amount of combos you can pull off with their kit is crazy, and they’re perfect for my preferred hyper aggressive play style.

wouldn't mauga work just as well as orisa if not better because the whole enemy team is forced to take it like a b*tch lol. i mean... im sure the orisa is way better cuz she doesn't just fall over instantly when using her ult, but im pretty sure mauga or zarya can achieve a similar effect.

Its not the grav part that makes the combo strong, its the almost instant undodgeable 400+ damage. Same reason illari prefers to combo with orisa over zarya. Orisa's burst triggers captive sun, even if zaryas ult is a strictly better cc option.

He had ads run on his subscribers on twitch for April 1st. Some people subbed to not see them and still saw them. There isn't anything to sort out, it was one day. If you can't afford 5-6 dollars don't do it in the first place.

But saying you shouldn't care about being scammed, just because you can afford it, is simply dumb. If any one of those people want their money back, Flats SHOULD try to sort it out. Of course, just saying that he should sort things out without giving context as to what happened is very disingenuous.

I hate ventures ult as an opponent because it’s really hard to visually see what’s going on. She can just look straight down and use it and it’s really hard to judge where it’s coming from or how it’s going to interact with the environment
