I did the same one time with 50 ton of deep mine coal on a dump wagon and 2004,, 379 Peterbilt. It all happened like I was in slow motion. I was dark and I felt something slide by my face. When I got a light and figured out what it was it was a mailbox post came into passenger window. First thing I did was hit my knees and thanked God nobody was hurt. Everything can be replaced or fixed except a life. God will bless you guys and this will just be a distant memory soon.

That's BAd BUT Thank GOD nobody was hurt! I started driving G.I. 5-tons at 19 and got my chauffeurs lisence at 22 or 23 when I got out. Started driving Macks and Mixers then and if someone was on my side, they was HIT! I never pulled off unless it was a safe place because I KNEW what'd happen. 22 tons and better ALL the time. Last time was a 10 1/5 ton mixer, 21 tons of concrete. I'd grit my teeth and it was up to THEM! Run a mower now but you never forget. God Bless Yall!
