We are back with a Car Profile! Car Profiles give you the information about the car and where the car currently sits in terms of Balance of Performance. If there is an update to the Balance of Performance or Physics I will do my best to update you in a follow up video or via the website.

Car Profile FAQ;
- Why Maximum RPM and not Maximum Performance on the Fuel Test? This is because not everyone uses bumper so they can't see the rev range. They can however see the Bar and that's why we use that. It also gives you an indication at how good it is at saving fuel because when we go to shortshifting you can see the difference with saving fuel as well as the performance.
- Why are you using Tyre Wear? This is because the official Balance of Performance is done using Fuel and Tyre wear so will be more accurate.
- Why Optimum over Fastest Laps? Because it's easier to get 10 individual best sectors than to get 10 best laps. You could blitz a sector 3 1 lap and a sector 2 the next lap and combined they create the optimum lap and a better picture.
- Why are you doing 10 laps? This is because after that I feel tyre wear and fuel becomes more impactful.
- Why Racing Medium tyres? I use this tyre as it's the "Middle" tyre in racing compounds. I feel the cars should be MOST balanced on this tyre in my opinion

Glad to see this car get some more coverage. I always use this car, no matter what track it is. But I don't see it pop up often by other players, even on tracks where it can challenge the metacar. Heck, I even remember challenging for the win in a few races on tracks where it was quite a ways off of the metacar (Spa with the McLaren is insanely fun). Just a bit sad to see that one of it's best tracks is one where I suffer the most...

The tiees are fantastic in races with the McLaren. When we had the daily race at nurburgring sprint, I won every race I got in with this car because I never hit the pit. The RSR and the RCZ were considerably quicker but they could not last 15 laps but the McLaren made it effortlessly. Probably could have gone 17-18 laps on the tires

Been waiting for this one. Thanks! I'm a bit surprised at the fuel results. Think the lack of pace could be because you do have to rev it out? I use this car in my online league and often find I have a bit of a fuel advantage over a stint compared to a few other "top tier" cars.

I drive it in mana. It is great on its tyres in race conditions We raced at Watkins last season (you were Alfa). I could have pitted 2 laps earlier but thought staying in your slip would be better for me long term because of your pace

Tidgney now you see why I LOVE using the 650s 😂 it's such an underrated car and so stable I wasn't surprised with how well it did on the tyre wear test but was very shocked with the fuel test as I'm quite good with saving fuel with that car 🤔 nevertheless great video as always, so glad you've done it bud I've been waiting months for this video 😁 👍

This car bring me my best races and stand out performance across GT Sport to 7 in League Races and FIA/GTWS Manufacturers Cups, the strength of the Macca's mechanical grip in medium-high speed corners is what made me love it and it helps me be very brave on the brakes, and thanks to the stability (since I'm on pad) I can save tyres much better (except tracks like Grand Valley I do not wanna go through that again) which then helps my driving style as I like to carry speed into the corner without slowing too much and despite the drawback being low acceleration out of slow corners and hairpins, it actually benefits me since I always try carry as much speed going into slow corners as much as possible. Fuel isn't a concern for me since I can save it as much as I want to while revving the hell off of it as I tend to improvise my strategies most of the time as you seen me done before.

Single player just added a 10 lap gr3 bathurst race. Starts in the dark and progresses to light, im definitely trying this car for that race.

Good question, unfortunately I don't expect it to be added in GT7. Mclaren are a very "Picky" manufacturer, only less picky than Ferrari with what is in video games so I think we will only see a 720s IF and this is a big IF there's a brand new GT3 car.

Tidge, would you show a leaderboard after the fuel test that shows all the cars in order of how much fuel they've saved after the full revs test please. The leaderboard you currently show is great but only demonstrates which cars are fastest in a straight line and almost makes your top speed board redundant.

Yooo, I can certainly add that, I'll do it based on Max RPM vs Half FM 3 with that. The issue is that a car that can save the most fuel may be shocking in performance doing it which is why the leaderboards are currently the way they are. But I can certainly add that table in for you.

@@tidgney A fair argument, maybe instead add where they would be in brackets based on fuel remaining with finishing time as a tie breaker
