Weekly race guide for gt7 , filthy , filthy if you prefer .... filthy , same as every week and getting worse maybe its had its day the dirty driving has killed it

St croix with long straight is most fun iv had in daily races. Last time was bout 6 mnth ago in gr3

I think they limit the use of the longer tracks as people quit those races more often which really depletes the on track race aspect and makes them more like a group TT. With smaller tracks, they are easier for people to learn so the mistakes aren't as magnified and as a result you end up with more wheel to wheel racing. I think what sport has always needed is a fourth endurance category for like 45+ minute races. That Race D slot could then be used to host the longer tracks over many laps. Its why The Ring sees so much more action during the Manu Cups vs dailies. With the short races it does seem like wall riding is simply the reason why they have avoided those rather than fixing the issue.

I think the big problem is that nobody is testing the online races. and I'm pretty sure that the ppl that are setting up the races are non Motorsport fans but just gamers. (if you get what i mean)

GT7 sport mode has become so dull. I race now and then but I'm only doing the time trials mostly. I even started doing these weekly races in single player.🫤🫤🫤

Pd's rng system is fuc ked.

Nordschleife is the funny one - combined, Nurburgring Nords/Endurance/24h have had 3 daily races... and 8 Manufacturers Cup races. It's like they want to reserve it for the serious players.

Gr3 at Alsace Village in Reverse was a brilliant race C towards the end of GT Sport!

Some friends of mine had a race at the long St Croix track Sunday night and it was a blast. The high speed sweeping turns are incredible. Especially in VR

To play devil's advocate, maybe PD has enough data to be pretty sure now which track combos get played the most?

I've always said Gran Turismo is like a gigantic amusement park... Only, every time you go all but a few of the rides are closed. Seems like there would have, at least by now, a daily race for every track or category of racing. I don't get it, what a waste!!!

well said bud, it's ridiculous that they have nearly 100 track layouts and over 400 cars but PD only use 20 percent of them in sport mode IF THAT!!!😐

at this point you wonder how much production has moved on to GT8. i’d suspect at least over 50% at this point. i’d like to think that the dailies (tracks) are picked at random and they put in a list of tracks in the game and use a random number generator towards an arraylist to pick the tracks….except for the 28 tracks that have never been picked, and the 18 that have been used once, and now taken out of that list. the cars is a whole another discussion-anytime it’s a road car, most of the time it’s a car that’s already been picked or one of the new cars added in the game.

Massive issue. And pd doesn't care. I started a new profile to do online races with and have to get to a certain level first. And I have to say the single player progression is so linear and boring. No freedom at all to go about it the way you want in cars you want to drive. I hate to see what gt8 is going to be like. Because gt7 is actually like a free to play game that has great graphics.

Well said, loads of negative feedback lately about the dailies. This is a decent week but overall sport mode is at a long (all?) time low imo, so I really hope something comes of all this.

High Speed Ring II is super nuts .... full speed off the tunnel into the esses and no need to wallriding. I like!

I actually like the beeping since it's authentic to the car, but there should definitely be a tuning part in GT Auto to disable it because it can get annoying for sure!

This challenge is driving me insane. Almost every time, I get the bollards at T7 ( les combs ). I play controller, and the sensitivity is at a "3" . Should I change it ?

1:28.6 with the skyline 😂 I managed 1:32.5 😆 the skill level difference between A+ and C really is ridiculous. Never mind though, races in level C are beautifully chaotic, and I'm enjoying them 😁 Until some losers punt me off the track on purpose, of course

So my game is currently glitched out. In sport mode I can’t see any of my opponents cars so I’m basically just racing alone, anyone know how to fix the problem

I'm still not convinced by the physics of a FF car touching the grass. Surely I should understeer wide rather than getting snap oversteer? I do like Yamagiwa though, always seems to produce close racing in Gr.4

this week, surely nothing interesting..for me :D All tracks kinda dangerous for sr :D but I wanted to do Race A from the back without a time set..but accidentally set it, so now skipping it :D

I think it would be interesting to see how the GT braking markers compare to the race guide laps. I find many are a bit too cautious

I really do wish they'd give us some tuning especially when we have ice skates for tires. At a minimum, they could give us sway bars so we can compensate for understeer. If they give us medium or soft tires, then it doesn't matter quite as much since we can modulate the brake pedal better. But even then, I don't see a reason they can't give us sway bars on every race. This would be a happy compromise for those who don't want tuning
