You did an awesome job! For your ends to make sure they are smooth, you can use end wraps. It like really thin paper squares you fold over the ends on your hair and then start rolling.

I also think you did a great job considering it was your first time and you have a lot of hair! I really like your results! It looks so shiny as well. I'm glad you posted this because I bought the doux foam as well. I haven't tried it yet so your results are definitely making me want to try using it for a perm rod set. Thanks!

Wow!! Super Cute!!! You got the twist and roll technique mastered in no time at all!! I can;t believe that none of the bands ever popped off. That always happens with me….SOOO frustrating!! I think this perm rod set is a “Go!” for you!!! ❤️

Using those little clips (instead of rubber bands) to hold the ends of your hair is such a great idea!!! Thanks for the tip!!🌹🌹 You did an awesome job perm rodding all of that long beautiful hair!!😮 The result was absolutely gorgeous🤩🤩🤩

Your hair looks beautiful and healthy! I love when you show the versatility of your hair. It's so inspiring! Yes, perm rods are not comfortable to sleep in (I speak from experience too). Sitting under the hooded dryer helps to dry and set your curls. Nicely done!

Beautiful as always!!❤ Your hair texture, density and length is a LOT like mine and I absolutely love doing perm rod sets! I recommend just tucking your ends in a couple rotations on the rod at the beginning for smoother ends. Sooo much easier than using papers or rubber bands😇

Your hair looks amazing! Before I cut my hair I loved perm rod sets. I can't wait to do them again. P.S. My brother and I loved eating those spiral shaped cheeto puffs. That took me back to childhood 🥲

It came out beautiful. Maybe consider getting a larger roller since your hair is super thick and long. Great job, though! How did it look the next couple of days?

It may help to do this right after your wash routine while it’s still wet. Also use a leave in before applying the mousse. I would use end papers to get smoother ends.

It came out so good! I tried doing perma rods myself and couldn’t do it lol. You did great though. I remember watching another video way back and the youtuber suggested using gel to lessen frizz, though it might be…messy lol

❤Beautiful! I love the versatility of 3c-4c hair so much! 🥰🤗 I wonder how long it will last? At least it is stretched so when it starts looking smooshed you can do a stretched bun or ponytail.

Yikes! How long did that take? You have so much hair for those small rods. You did a great job though. I would get the largest rods for hair that long.

Quick advice: I know its your adapted development, and don't know the history, but when you talk nasally it can make your lips chapped because the airways in your nose need to work it's magic as much as your mouth when you breathe. Obviously this is just out of observation. It might not even be lack of a nasal usage problem and just your upper pallet not being utilized. But it's helpful to check a doctor to see if your might need a septoplasty. The sound it if tells me it might be the case. And it also help resonance to help talk/sing a bit clearer and louder. Nasal obstruction can be detrimental to your health and the nose's ability to be the body's filter. Just looking out for ya. ;-)
