Because your hair is so long, I hold the RevAir half way up the hair for a minute then all the way up. It gets the ends straighter.

I find the cleanser stripping. I threw it away. I recently purchased it again and will try it since I love the products in the moisture line. I will use the conditioner as a deep conditioner after shampooing with the ginger cleanser.

❤❤❤❤❤ Love Sufur 8 products. Baby!!! The shampoo is no joke! Yo scalp will be clean!!! I always shampoo twice then use a deep conditioner. You do need the shampoo to completely cleanse the Sufur 8 pomade from your scalp.

Hi Joy-el, Coconut penetrates the cuticles and coats strands, it’s a powerful protein that oftentimes keeps layering and eventually cuticles can’t breath….

Hi Joy-el. Your hair looks like it has thickened over the years? I also have 4c hair and Am looking to thicken up My hair. What would you say thickened your hair the most and grew it the longest? Sulfur 8?

Do you have an Amazon storefront or links to where you got the alligator clips and medium size claw clips? I had to return the ones I got because they snag my hair.

Same no burning untill she rinced my hair then the chlorine in the water got together with the relaxer and started the chemical reaction that literally made me go back to being a natural girly for life.

I think it is your hair porosity that affects the way these products are working. In this video, I can see that the water and products is sitting on top of your hair strands so you probably have low porosity hair. A heating cap for your hair would possibly help with absorption especially during the conditioning process.

I used to do wet sets (use rollers) when my hair was relaxed. The tighter the hair is pinned around the roller the smoother the curls will be. If too much hair is wrapped around one roller, the hair will be puffy and frizzy - even on relaxed hair. I would suggest trying it again with more rollers and using large bobby pins to hold the hair around the rollers. Clips did not hold my hair tight enough around the roller. I commend your creativity and experimentation. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I would like to straighten my strands with rollers. My one attempt was a fail.

As long as you can find products that work with your hair type it really doesn't matter what category your hair falls under. I think this hair type chart is totally unhelpful and just causes confusion. My hair doesn't seem to fit the typing system at all as it is frizzy and kinky but I know what it likes product wise. I think afro hair personally goes further than 4c and if you look at various people around, be it men or women with their natural hair, you will see the different kinks and textures we all have.

I am so glad you said that part about the manipulation of the hair. At last, someone finally said it. It also shows that if these content creators are doing so much with their hair or talk about how unhappy they are with it, they haven't truly embraced their hair texture and this is not helpful to your viewers who are watching. Thank you for saying this because I am fed up with it too.

Years ago, I had a deep conversation with my hair about accepting and loving her just the way she is. This conversation was successful, and now we are united. Our hair textures are identical, and we must handle it with care and tenderness. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous ♥️.

Eee! I loved this style and the way your twists dried. They look so cool! My hair is looser and darker so when I tried this style, the twists didn't dry with as much volume as yours and didn't have all of the beautiful highlights yours do. Otherwise, I would have worn them without unravelling... Hope your school is going well <3

i've been binge watching your channel and im obsessed with your hair you are the first 4c natural that i've seen that talks so highly of their hair and is always caring for it even when you are battling with depression. Its very nice to see. I gave up watching natural hair youtubers because they were always so negative and mean about 4c hair. I hope more 4c girls discover your channel and approach their hair in a more positive way. Also i know this video is 3 years old but I hope your depressive episodes have lessened!

Please dont let anyone get to you! The bottom line is you're providing multiple services: entertainment, making yourself a guinea pig on camera (the bravery! The risk!), and spending time and money so that your viewers potentially dont have to spend their own time lr money trying the product...Beyoncé and her army of sponsered content should properly explain how to use the products and have detailed instructions and tips imo ❤❤❤❤
