However, please never refer to a minor you’re attracted to as “your favorite food you can’t eat without consequences.” For someone to have a favorite food they have to try and experience the flavor and have some sort of prior familiarity to know that it is there favorite. Relating that analogy to the “fucking young” song if it had to deal with feelings for someone you can’t express towards because of the legal repercussion infers that the writer had been with minors enough to know that it was a favored flavor to be able to write a song about the pain of not being romantic with one. Of course, my point can easily be thrown out the window with no concern if the fact of the matter is there’s no element of truth or real life experience in the lyrics.
