Those weirdo listings of 11 thousand reviews of "dog poop bags" aren't exactly fake. What happens is one of these bulk Chinese vendors lists a thousand and one different products they got for no cost on the Shenzen market. Literally shotgunning listings. Whenever any listing does well, it's kept. The poor performing ones are deleted. As with the Shenzen market, just because you find a product today doesn't mean it's available tomorrow. These operations are all fly by night and evaporate as quickly as they appear. So what these bulk vendors do is recycle the listings that perform well. They change the title, the category, the description, the pictures, the price. The only thing they can't change are the reviews. So I was looking for headphones a while back. Saw some with high ratings and tons of reviews. I start reading reviews and only the last two weeks are about headphones and they all say that they're absolute ass. After a couple weeks back the reviews change to some gardening tool. Huh? So I keep reading and a year or so back it's for yet another completely unrelated product. So not exactly fake reviews. More like, carrying the good reviews from one product over to another. It's absolutely stupid Amazon allows you to completely change a listing. But Apple does it as well with the App Store. A children's app my GF's daughter used suddenly one day updated to become some kind of stock trading app. No warning, no confirmations. Just kid's game gone and here's some stocks. It was a kind of shady looking stock app as well.

Choosing reviews where it is simply "crazy people ranting within a text box" ... doesn't really make for a good video... there has to be some correlation to make the game fun... aka it must be possible to decipher the answers. Otherwise, every round is "I'm just going to take a wild guess" ... Either make the questions possible to answer, or make the video simply about highlighting crazy reviews without the guessing.
