Thank you Morgan! Per your suggestion, I looked up sung versions on KZfaq. I really enjoyed the recent Steeleye Span recording. I also found one they did in 1974 which was also fantastic! Looking forward to more videos in this series.

This is super random, but at the very end of the video when you mentioned that fairies usually put bells in their horses' manes or tails, I suddenly thought of the White Witch from the Chronicles of Narnia. There's something about her whole interaction with Edmund in the first book that feels very reminiscent of fairy folklore. Would you ever be interested in making a video about what influences from fairy folklore you see either in the C.S. Lewis books or in Tolkien?
