Having a “mode” like this isn’t great. You keep forgetting what mode you’re in and not safe to look down at the button to check while driving. Just use four buttons…

or you open the window blind, realize it is opening the wrong one, close, change mode, open the correct one

I have been waiting so long for a review of the xc30. Can't wait to see it. Already the interior looks better in my opinion than what I saw in the very first cars with that dotted, cheap looking, panels in the doors and dashboard. This feels more homey. When can we expect to see the full review on main channel?

These window switches are rubbish! VW put them on their ID range at launch and got berated for it, then they changed back to four switches. Come on Volvo!!

Much cheaper and safer to put electronic switches in the center, it's the Swedish way. Saab did it for many years.

I can put all 4 windows down at the same time in my 2015.Sienna. This approach is stupid and only omits one button! Too cute for its own good..

This is just stupid, yeah it stops that up down up down shit bored people do in the back, also what is the likely hood of this been a canbus system? So when your car decides its a terminator randomly I don't want my windows opening like someone from a rave, and all canbus systems do this when 1 thing goes wrong your car starts to hate you

Honestly, i think it's actually good that the controls are in the center and not on doors At part you could easily say: cheaper to manufacture but because of this you also could say: also cheaper/easier to repair! sadly its not helping the overall car image :\
