@@frankofodor Haha, i do... but it is much easier to see when i start edit :-P But practise makes perfect. and i see i have to take longer clips so i have more footage to speed up before i slow it back down again :-) Will look much more into this in 2020 :-P

Another great review. I was eagerly awaiting this one as you know. SC project is now at the top of my list. I’m just genuinely also interested in the SC1-R sound for some reason. The R-Rally model is more enduro, the SC1-R more road. Both great tones to my ears. Thank you for this!

Ordered mine today, hopefully I’ll be getting it the week of the 4th may... Can’t wait for it! If I should swap the muffler, it’s definitely for this one. Only doubt is if I would have to get one of those Dyno jet power commanders or not. Any thoughts on this?

Tenkara Peru congrats on picking the best one out there! The rumble in this one is amazing 😍 you dont need any mapping or Tuning when changing the silencer! By the look of rottweiler performance dyno test you can decat it as well without Tuning it. All the dyno charts are avalible on rottweiler performance home page i thing. Or just Google it 👍🏻 i have not put a power commander on my bike

Great sound also with silencer in. I prefere a black one and Í ´ m not really sure which muffler I choose: Wings, Arrows or yours sc project…👍🏻

Yeah, the sound is amazing :-) So great without decat was way more than i would expect. There is alot of good options out there, but many of them have to much of a streetbike look IMO

Nice sound and video👌Db-killer out is maybe too loud for everyday use. I would have cut off the end of the db-killer so that you dont have the rectangular holes in the db-killer.

Yeah, I have to ride it on longer trips before i can say how loud it is... I always ride with earplugs anyway so i hope it is not too much :-) Thank you for the tip. will look into making a shorter dB killer

Weight saving? Then I must say I've grown old. I like to run with the db-killer in for not make forrest owners angry while riding on their roads. If you're quiet you can do a lot more. Maybe not an issue for you but I live in the southest of Sweden. Many roads but allways close to someone's house. I really like your videos and the mixed content in them :)

I do see you have a valid point! But most people i come by really like the rumble of the exhaust! The weight saving is not more than 1.1 kilo (i think it was) just the can! If you take away the cat, you will save much more! But the bike will sound like a jet fighter 😂 thank you, glad you enjoy my videos! Motiveres me to make more

How would you compare this to a decat? Ridden a ktm 790 adventure with an arrow decat and stock exhaust and it was so throaty and amazing! Felt like a different, even more intense 🤩, bike 🏍

A friend of mine had the Arrow exhaust and the arrow decat, and i have to admit, i think that was to loud for my taste. The Slip on, or maybe the decat with stock exhaust is almost the same? Not sure. I will not go decat with this exhaust... 🔥

Have this exact setup! It sounds like having the cat+db killer combo. But if you do decat+no dbkiller its annoying AF, very very loud

@@Elskins you shouldnt worry i think, the dbkiller is really drastically cutting down the noise levels! But without it, dont even think about it haha!

Cheers mate.. yeah, you just need to be really careful when placing the db killer in the pipe again, and make sure the hole match up. And you ned to screw it back hard. because of the tig on the thread

Hahaha, i cut away a couple of minutes in the video. The frustration was real. I just did as show'n in the video... pull and wiggle :-) Dont try to turn it, because it has an angle..... it will just lock it more.

Hi Thomas, wondering if there is any loss of power with the new muffler? And how much...Is there any data off that? You've probably made some rounds with the new one, what are your experiences? Normally, only with the stock muffler you get the max of the engine. Declarations like 5 PS more or similar, that is all lied. Thanks for feedback and cheers

Hello Igor, i can’t say you will notice any power loss with this pipe! I know Rottweiler performance has done some serious testing with stock, with slip-on and decat! If you Google it you can see the Numbers yourself... i cant notice any difference in power from stock! But i sure can feel the difference in sound ❤️

Hello mate... haha, i got alot of questions about that lately. I used pliers and brute force. 🤣a guy told me he had to cut ut out with a dremel because it was so hard to get out. I dont hope you need to go that far. I saw a tip in one video about a guy getting some wire inside and pulled it out from the bottom out if that make sense.

Franco Prez GoNe SleDdInG no i did not decat the bike yet. I know the sound is better, but there are strickt dB rules in Europe and if i want to travel around i need the dcat to go below the sound limit

Cool vid man. The new pipe looks awesome. But impossible for us to hear the difference in sound volume etc as ur camera was adjusting to the different sound levels. U need to set your audio recording in your camera to manual to show the real sound differences

Thank you, if you use a headset there is a noticable difference! I adjusted the volume in the camera, used a røde mic and normalized the sound levels in post, to take away clipping . I adjusted the eq to same levels and the compression the same and the render file and on my computer there is a huge difference in sound. What are you listening trough? Computer speaker or something else? Thank you for the feedback

@@tshansen yes i tried good quality bose headphones. But the main issue is that u normalized it. It then loses all the difference in gain (which im sure is huge from the silencer in or out)... If it wasnt normalized, the no silencer would be hitting almost at the clipping level and with silencer in would be way down maybe 50% or less on the gain scale... Which would sound lame... But would be a great way to hear the difference.

Sounds pretty good man. I'm thinking about going with the Arrow Exaust with the cat delete which is really nice sounding! Just not sure about doing the cat delete and getting through customs in other countries. Your thoughts?

I was thinking about the same thing when i consider this exhaust! Until i get a solid reading of the dB charts with the dcat, i will wait... i guess it will be to loud and be a pain to cross the border in some countrys in Europe

In Germany they will force you to stop riding and is viewed as riding without permission afaik. So just skip our country. I think in France or Swiss they have "loudness cameras" similiar to speeding ones which take a photo of the bike from behind of its too loud. In Germany they also can come after you big time for tax evasion since our vehicle tax is also based on emission which you alter with decats. Doesn't apply to foreigners I hope

Hello mate :-) Well, there is no going back, I can tell you that. I thing the exhaust with the dB killer out is perfect and how the bike should sound. I may consider decat, will wait to hear a friend of mine first. He has the decat pipe on order (arrow) the exhaust is bellow the leagal limit here in Norway, so no problem with the law :-) Cheers

Hello mate... i just used a normal plier and alot of force. I got contacted by another guy who struggled alot woth the same thing. Do you have some way of cooling it? that may help to get the metal to "shrink" a little?

@@Kiki-dp8pi If you heat it, the metal will expand if i'm not mistaking. If you have a some way to cooling it, i think that will help. I know you can buy some spray or something similar

I just purchased one of these from Rottweiler performance - love the look, but I cannot for the life of me get the silencer out. I guess I am going to have to take it to a shop

I agree, it looks way better than any other option out there IMO 😊The silencer can be a challange. I heard alot of guys stryggle to get it out. Brute force my friend, brute force 🔥

@@tshansen No, but something I noticed was the baffle itself was somewhat oblong, and when installed at the factory had slide marks at the top and bottom. The Allen key bolt had a small weld on it but I think they all have that. All is well that ends well, and it sounds incredible. Possibly even better than the wings on my LC4

Hmm, i heard about one other guy with the same problem lately! He could not move it at all! I Wonder if he used CO2 to cool it down before he tried again! Glad you got it out and love the sound. I had wings on my 1290 adventure r, but i cant remember how it was sounding in real life! But of all sounds i have heard on the 790, i think there is something special with the sc-project 👏🏻

To cut it down just a little may be the best solution.... See if i can make a new one, and see what becomes the best.

Nope, there is no need to do anything with the ECU with just changing the silencer! I may do it if i get rid of the cat as well 👍🏻💥

I'm not sure, i removed the passanger pegs before i upgraded the exhoust. But i remember i had to remove the exhaust to get the passanger pegs off. But i dont think it is in the way for the new exhaust to be honest :-)

I live in Norway, and I’m sorry i don’t remember how much the shipping and taxes was here in Norway. Normally you can add 25% to the price you pay in store.

If you drill a hole in a certain angle/place there’s a screw! But i’m not putting it back. It’s loud but not crazy loud :) btw am i the only one noticing that when the guys from the original video sounds like smeagol from lord of the rings when he says ‘yesssss, yessss’ 😂

I dont see any reason why it should be better with stock exhaust. As long as you keep the cat there is no issue with the laws. You save over 1kg of weight and your pipe will run a little bit cooler :-)

@@tshansen 1. Cost 2. Ecology (stock exaust low emmisions) 3. Weight (in 223kg, 1 kg low is unperceptible) 4. Noise (low noise in stock, low acoustic contamination) 5. Torque (stock distribution of torque is absolutely perfect). Conclusion this motorcycle is absolutly perfect with stock specifications

@@librepensador6800 I cant see any difference in ecology with slip-on vs stock? Weight, when you are alone on the trails, every kg counts in my opinion. I rather shave one off than adding one :-P There is not much more noise from the slip-on it just alot more deeper sound. But noise is personal preference. 5 Torque, i dont know if it's effected at all with only slip on. But the bike in general are poor optimized to pass the euro emissions rules. So get your bike in a dyno is a good idea even if you run stock exhaust. I think the bike is more perfect with some minor upgrades :-p

@@tshansen Sincerely for the use that we give it, I do not believe that the 790 adventure r needs these improvements, maybe other models such as the Africa twin 2015 if needed, but this one in particular does not.

i simply laugh about this EGO Trip ala yeah im so cool i dont use a DB killer. It does not only piss off the people living by the road, also the ones behind you and it results in idiotic bans for bikers because of this behaviour. And the SC Project looks too simple for that money.
