Just watched it today and I’ll never get that money back. Whole movie went by and Gorr keeps bringing up his daughter and he doesn’t realize he can use his wish to bring her back until Thor says it to him? And he does it with no resistance, even though he spent the movie killing and kidnapping to eradicate all the gods. Just a poorly written script, story, plot, and dialogue. Wasn’t even funny like Ragnorak. Unmitigated failure

I was so happy for Christian Bale, but then when the movie didn’t use him all that much I was disappointed, and then I watched the Batman Dark Knight trilogy again to cure my sadness

The only thing redeeming about this movie was Gorr.. I was craving every scene he was in. Then it gets severely undercut by a damn joke. 🤦🏾♂️… the kids fighting was an insult. You have Gorr on the other side and now all of a sudden these kids can fight these monsters.

Valkyrie and Korg were completely useless in this movie and could have easily been taken out and I hated how so much of Gorr's plan revolved around kidnapping kids which made it feel like there were even less stakes. So much unnecessary comedy in this movie too, especially when it got to Zeus which made the gods look even more trash. Outside of NWH and Shang-Chi I really haven't been feeling any of these other Phase 4 films.

They chose a fat overweight old man to play Zeus. He should’ve been a huge bodybuilder type. He had no intimidation factor at all he was afraid of the Antagonist and the fact that Thor defeated Zeus with his own attack in a matter of seconds is trash. Wasn’t even a fight

Only reason Bale took the role is because of his kids not the money He was arguably the best part of the film; wish we could’ve saw the scene between him, Jeff Goldblum, and Peter Dinklage

I hate the direction the Thor movies went in after the first one so I'm honestly not surprised this movie sucked. They slowly started adding more and more comedy to his movies, Ragnarok I hated with a passion because of all the silly jokes. I read something somewhere that said Thor was a difficult superhero for the average fan to relate to, since hes a God, so they decided to add more humour to his character in order to humanise him. I wouldn't be surprised if that's also why they made him a fat depressed drunk in endgame.

No audience is trying to relate to Thor(at least not me), we just want to see him kick ass be a badass. Leave the other stuff to the human characters. Sure he can be funny at times but now its just goofy.

I hate how his movie's trajectory went and how they had his character. - His solo movies should've strictly had him in asgard and exploring his universe. No going to earth whatsoever. The only time he should be on Earth is when we have the Avengers movies. - As far as his character, fuck the humanizing and the relatability bullshit. He's a GOD. Show me a God. Highlight his badassery and Godly power.

I truly think that Taika is the most overhyped/overrated film maker in Hollywood, buddy is terrible to decent at everything he does, he was even the worst part of Free Guy lol I think that he's hyped up in the sense of people feel like they know movies if they praise his work, almost like he's a high brow piece of art or something.

Taika and Chris Hemsworth will continue to make thor a joke because they don't really care about the character. Jane was the best character in this film because she actually had some depth. Gorr was underwhelming and underutilized. I don't know why my boy Christian Bale took this role. Even when there was serious moments there would be a joke that takes away from it. U would think with such a serious story there would actually be some stakes but there's not😂 I'll give the movie a D- and not an F because Jane was actually a good character.

The reason they gave in the movie for why Gorr took the kids was to lure Thor to the shadow realm, where it’s later revealed the bifrost is the key. So he needed Thor to come. Still trash but they did give a reason lol F movie

Wow!! You guys are on point with your observations of this movie. I saw it today and left disappointed. It should’ve been MUCH better than this. It made no sense. Nothing was connected. It promoted the gay agenda. Too many jokes! Those goats were absolutely annoying. They destroyed Stormbreaker!!!🤢🤦🏾. I almost forgot to add that Zeus was complete trash!!!!!!! Zeus afraid??? Unbelievable.

See I don’t think he’s BAD. I like how he shoots action a lot. I like some of the comedy. What I don’t like is too much comedy, stupid sexual/gay jokes, and making Thor into a bumbling idiot. He can be funny without being a Moron. I just think he needs to tone it down a bit from ragnarok and tone it down a lot from love and thunder… if he’s even capable of that. Thor is my fav male character… I liked his power in ragnarok, infinity war and this movie.

I love Ant-Man and the wasp. You can't compare this movie to thor 4. I don't want to watch thor 4 ever again. I've watched Ant-Man and the wasp like 6 times, love it every time, giant Ant-Man is aweome, ghost is incredible and they can use michelle pfeiffer's powers for a lot of cool stuff. For me the eternals and captain marvel are the worst, captain marvel 1. Eternals 2.

I 100% agree with all of you, extremely agree this movie is not good. But I did give it a B-, because it wasn’t boring, female Thor is my favorite, and I laughed hard on two things. But the story and everything you said are extremely true. B- to C- movie, good thing I didn’t go to the theaters because the captain is always loyal to his ship 🏴☠️💻, but I’m never watching that next Star Wars movie because as soon as it’s on KZfaq and I see jokes I’m not watching it or pirating it.

When I watched Black Widow, I thought this is one of the worst MCU movies so far. Then came Eternals which was almost just as bad, then Multiverse of Madness which was also shit, not as bad but significantly more disappointing. And now this, another MCU movie that I hoped would be good, then ended up being not just bad but terrible and easily one of the worst MCU movies out there. What the hell happened? Marvel went from making some of the best comicbook movies ever to some of the worst, rushed, soulless movies of the year/decade. This is some DCEU/X-Men level quality inconsistencies. one year No Way Home, next year this shit (among others). One year Logan, next year Dark Phoenix. One year ZSJL and The Suicide squad, the year before that WW84 (one of the worst movies I have ever seen and possibly the worst comicbook movie in existence in my opinion, beating even catwoman) and birds of prey.

I think Gorr the god butcher plan was to use the kids as leverage so that way he can get stormbreaker and also kill Thor, Mighty Thor AKA (Jane Foster) and Valkyrie all at the same time.

I loved this movie. Don't give af what anyone says. people take comic book movies wayyy too seriously now days. The script and dialogue and acting were all serviceable at worst and the comedy was very good just like Ragnarok. Was the movie perfect? NO should it have been another 15 minutes longer? YES. All in all though it was not a trash or mediocre Thor movie. Very unique and welcome addition to the MCU. It's not a copy and paste generic safe superhero formula film. its its own thing and I respect the hell out of it

there was some "substance" that was good but the bad mostly over kills it. christain bale did a crap job, why are all the DC heroes playing villains in MCU? so he'll play gor but wont finish off batman? i love the MCU but this hits low - eternals was a fail - this is a close 2nd
