I am new to Airsoft and happened to pick one of these up and it fits very well with ACH and full goggles. I am just using the stock straps. Tighten them like you would a gas mask and wear the goggles over the straps.

Glad you made the point about the cheek weld. Aggravating trying to get one and a good sight picture with a regular mesh mask.

For warmer climates remove the padded sides and resew on new, single layer, mesh with a thick nylon boarder(similar to what goes around the yeah itsself. This greatly cools the face down and since there's nothing to soak up the face sweat it won't stink up after long usage. Alternatively getting a aggressively thick strap and Velcro works for milsim events where you don't want mesh on 24/7 but want to put it on at a moment's notice without fiddling with eye pro... To do this you'll need to seam rip one side of the mesh from the elastic bracket... Then sew about a 2x3 inch piece of Velcro on that cheek padding. Now sew a loop from the plastic elastic piece to the long nylon strip mentioned before. On that long strip will be the opposing side of the Velcro... Hook and loop... Now you can still adjust worth the elastic tensioner bands and also be super quick about strapping on face pro or even allowing yourself to strap it to a loop or handle on a bag during down time.

What eye protection do you use

My nose isjust a liiiittle too long, any suggestions? I like it otherwise but its annoying to get my nose mushed abit. Was thinking of paintball mask foam and I ripped osme out of my old one but while it helps a bit it does sort of smoosh my chin a little.

You should get the OneTigris Repro Crye Airframe. It feels likes the real Crye

I got one of these as my first face pro, so so good couldn't find a good pair of goggles I liked so went for a dye i4 in the end but I still got it as back up or if I bring someone new

I just got one and the only gripe I have with it is that if you have a really big head like me, it doesn't protect your jaw line fully. Luckily, I have a beard. Also, I'm wondering if I can mod this to work better with my Valken Sierra goggles around the nose.

wouldn't it hurt if you get hit in the area where the spacer mesh and the nylon is ? i mean it's not made of the mesh that's on the nose and mouth part.. Im deciding which mesh mask to get.. please help ! THanks !

Great review as always. I run Howard leights for my coms set up and most face mask go back too far close to the ear and get in the way under the head phones so the don't fit properly. Without the brain exploder ear pro, do the straps or what not go near your ears? thanks in advance. I know this is a an older vid, so it's understood if you don't see this comment.
