In the past weeks, maybe a month or so, ago, I had requested prayer for my Aunt's sister's family. Her sister, LouAnn had died swiftly from a cancer diagnosis. Her husband died yesterday. 😢 Their children are young adults, a son and daughter. Pray as they work through all of the stuff and grief of these deaths. Let them lean on GOD's amazing grace.

Thank you all for the prayers. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the news we were hoping for. The tests proved to be cancer. Not only that, it has metastasized and there is nothing that can be done medically for her. She is a Christian so we aren’t worried about that. We are just worried for her mom who has been her caregiver all her life. She was born with spina bifida. They have been soulmates. We pray her mom will have strength and peace to get through this.

Please pray for Connie in New York who is plagued with unrealistic thoughts that she believes to be true! They make her life miserable and she in turn has hurt so many people. Connie needs to admit she needs help. I pray and ask for prayers that God sends her the professional help she desperately needs.

Thank you for this encouraging message. I've been battling thoughts for months and I knew they were not from God. I do get weary rebuking and taking thoughts captive, but God is with me. Pray for my son, Alex, he's been through in a lot in his 17 years and it hurts me to see him depressed and closed up. Thank you channel family! Maranatha 🎺

I have always struggled with negative thoughts. I appreciate your encouraging words. I just graduated as a teacher this year. I am in the process of looking for a job. My thoughts are telling me that I won't get a job and that I am not equipped to do the job. As the fall approaches, I am terrified about possibly being a substitute teacher. I feel like I'm under attack in my thought life. I would really appreciate your prayers. I hope that you are feeling well.

I am a retired teacher and I can remember the very same thoughts before getting my first teaching job. I didn't get hired until August. God will provide a position for you and even a substitute job may lead to a permanent position. God will equip you for all that is required. Ask Him to give you wisdom to be the teacher that the children need. Proverbs 29:25 "Whoever trusts and puts his (her) confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe."

Such wonderful, so relevant words in this trying times. Do help me pray for young people to be more open with good thoughts. To ponder what is being pondered. To focus on honorable thoughts towards the heavenly father more than the audacity of fears and the loudness of anxiety. Buttermilk and cornbread was one of my grandmother's favorite too. I just couldn't understand why. 🙂 You're looking better Pastor and I so enjoy watching Andy who looks so peaceful. 🐾🐾 I definitely have to watch my thoughts today. In my waking this morning and as the day progresses, recurring unpleasant thoughts of yesterday's work keeps trying to enter. Not today Satan! Jesus is LORD and my Protector! Amen. God bless you Pastor Max for taking the time to address this issue honestly and openly, especially to our younger people. I thank you personally for defining the difference--that it is our "response" to anxiety that is fueled by the negative thoughts and we have the ability to stop them. Such valuable information should be passed on. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from this information, and I am so truly grateful that mental health is more mainstream than ever! Great encouragement Max! COVID fears are running rampant, but as you said GOD KNOWS & CARES! If he didn't we wouldn't have Jesus, his sacrifice on our behalf, & the Bible. So thankful God has given me another day. Please pray for my health as my kidneys are failing and I am on the brink of having to start dialysis. My hiusband has dementia and I need to stay health enough to take care of him.

I can relate to this level of anxiety sometimes. I am a firm believe in Philipians 4 and it truly is something important that we often forget about focusing only on the good. We are what we surround ourselves with as well.

Philippians 4:6-7 tells us "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, BY PRAYER, with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." The peace of God is a promise we can receive when we pray! Stay calm God is in control
