Thousands of US, Germany, France & Spain Army Soldiers Arrive in Romania to Joint Swift Response 24

16 күн бұрынNATO multinational exercise "Swift Response 24" has started and is also taking place on Romanian territory. The application will include one of the largest airborne disengagement operations in Europe since the Second World War, with around 2.000 paratroopers.
A total of 5.000 military personnel from seven allied and partner countries are taking part in the exercise. Romania is providing air bases at Campia Turzii, Otopeni, Boboc, Banat Airport in Caransebes and three polygons.
Swift Response 24 is a dynamic U.S. Army Europe & Africa-led exercise focused on Allied airborne forces’ ability to quickly and effectively respond to crises as an interoperable, multi-national team.
Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
SWIFT RESPONSE 2024 is part of STEADFAST DEFENDER 2024, NATO’s largest collective defence drills in decades featuring around 90,000 troops from all 32 NATO member countries.
SWIFT RESPONSE 24 began with six near-simultaneous joint forcible entries (JFE) into Estonia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, and Sweden.

It is inevitable. The question is whether you are going to accept it. Many choose to reject and act; they are likely to get killed, but at least you live a life that makes sense when you are dying for someone or something you actually care about. I believe the West is the force of good and true civilisation, regardless if it brings death to specific cultures. My point is simple: Don't be afraid of the abyss; you should embrace it for the sake of your descendants' future. Of course, it might be that you hate yourself and your culture. In that case, your substantial or even small sacrifice should not be made.

Great to see US and allies training together. We must fight for our freedom or risk being destroyed or enslaved by the dictators and fascists. So inspiring to see that former fascist dictatorships of Germany and Spain and a former Soviet colony of Romania are now allies with US/EU. Maybe someday a free Russia will fight alongside us too.

Looks like really great fun DOESNT it ! But important to note, that there is virtually no chance that Russia is going to be invading NATO countries unless you provoke a full on war by putting NATO troops into Ukraine . In that case you can expect the NATO alliance pacts boarders to be redrawn not in your favour.Things can then get real ugly in my opinion.🫡
