I've always said, acting is one of the only professions you get applauded for self destruction. All this terrible method acting is leaving so many actors broken or depressed. Jessica Lange expressed a sentiment during a Roundtable talk where she said sometimes she'd be having a great day then just get overwhelmed with grief and it's usually from a character. I remember thinking to myself, well no shit. You've created a thought form, housed it in your body and fed it for months. Now it's stuck with you, feeding off you. I don’t think it was a misogynistic question. The fact that women don’t get better roles as they get older may be misogynistic but to ask why isn’t. Doesn’t even meet the definition of the word, as in hating women or having prejudice against women. Just because people say it is doesn’t make it so. I agree that they should ask the directors that question too and more often because it’s mostly/partly their fault, but why not both groups? The real solution is that there need to be more female directors.

However, her reply was 'I think [it's] mysoginistic', and to me it sounded like he was asking for clarification when he asked 'the question, or the answer?', not correcting her. I also think that feedback was used because the answer that the question is mysoginistic is still in the video but the rest of that part of the video was cut short.
