If you're looking for some new plants to add to your summer borders, I've got three ideas. First, Verbena Bampton is a lovely and slightly unusual plant not common in gardens. It's perennial, will flower throughout the season and cuttings strike well so you can easily make loads of new plants.
Secondly, salvias are also fantastic perennial plants that will also flower throughout the summer as long as you dead head them. Finally, nicotiana are a fragrant beauty that open their flowers in the evenings and fill gardens with a heady scent.
So if you're looking for some new summer flowers, try these three great plants!
