Love isn't an excuse for abuse or harmful behaviour. But so many popular films would have us believe otherwise...

@@joshuajames1998 It is not an "attention seeking drama". Domestic violence is a reality in India and in most cases, women in our society are unable to get out of toxic relationships and when movies such as this glorify this, it needs to be addressed.

Did you like padmavati? In Kabir singh even preeti hit arjun. (I use arjun for Kabir as it's Arjun reddy first and I'm used to that. ). It wasn't violence, it was a symbolic representation of how the couple communicated with each other. I typed in another comment also. Read that you will understand. Violence and stalking in love is absolutely not acceptable whether it is men or women who suffer. Both must be taken seriously. These men are ridiculed as weak, and women are never allowed to have an opinion about teasing and stalking and violence. It has to stop. And the media has failed us enormously. Meanwhile, here's a new NewDelhi for the ministers who were already living in bungalows before.

General defense point that artist or their fans have is that artist can show whatever they want, but i mean if your content affects so many people then you should be more careful about what you say or how you represent things, Cinema and music has great power to normalise good things like clothes(people can wear whatever they want) and equality between men and women so instead of showing things like misogyny, colourism and domestic violence, cinema should focus on these things

It's not about it's about the integrity of the artist itself they earn more money than anyone doing the minimum and most unskilled work frankly they take money but refuses to take the responsibilities that comes with it.... Is that the problem of the viewers or the movie? I mean even I would love a girl like preeti who doesn't let some other man touch her pinky finger also. And maybe even a girl would love a husband like Kabir who couldn't move on from her and kept thinking about her day and night. It was just a Love story. Let it be at that. @@dOVERanalyst he didn't sleep with every girl possible that's an exaggeration. He used to bring girls to his room and tell them his story. He used to have intercourse with women, yes. But that was to come out of the pain he was in. He never wanted to actually love the women he had intercourse with. He states that clearly to the actress. And you might ask why did he even have intercourse with women. Let me tell you why. Preeti aired him so badly. He didn't even know if she was alive or dead or happily married. Nothing. For him she couldve just moved on. But luckily she didn't. He was still stuck with her. He couldn't come out from the love he had for her. Let it be pain, happiness anything, it reminded him of her only. Reference to the glass cut scene. He used to have intercourse with women to reduce the pain he had. But nothing works. He still lived in the love of preeti. And preeti too loved him so much that she isolated herself from the society carrying their child, a symbol of their love. Kriti doesn't know if he's dead, alive or happily married. She brings men to ease the pain. She has intercourse with them & tells them Manpreet's stories. Cut to Manpreet never touched his wife. And comes back to her. Believable? Nope. There you're. In real life, knowing someone you loved has love for you but slept with so many, is hard to digest. I want to know how many men will proudly introduce "This is the woman that waited for me. Not knowing if I was ever to come back. She slept with so many just to ease the suffering. But she could love none of them " It's not all black & white. Not taking away anything from his pure longing, but it is still not ok. A girl in similar situation will be slut shamed. Her own love will be the first to say, "Main kya gaya...." Men expect women to not touch anyone but somehow the man that touched all in her love is godly? Is glorified as THE LOVER? And women expect the man she left to have slept with everyone and forgive him too. I understand he wasn't in a relationship, he wasn't cheating. But what have we all come down to? This makes it normal and ok for men to be caught in bed with someone and say,"That's just sex. But I LOVE ONLY YOU" Yes, Ofcourse 🙄🤨

This is great content! There is a need for change in these things for greater good. As an Indian teen, I've been following Brut India and it seriously is a dope channel. It makes great content and specially content which actually make sense and matter.Keep up the good work.

Absolutely, no lady likes to be teased, stalked, beaten up, abused or harmed in any way... These movies are so male dominated, that's harmful to society... But getting influenced by watching them is the fault of individual... Taking th right things from them is the responsibility of individual...

Hats off to Anubhav Sinha for making a film like Thappad which beautifully portrays the deeply rooted Patriarchy in our society I hate filmakers like Sandeep Reddy vanga who normalises violence against women in their films

The ever widening age gap between a man and woman is also very problematic. SRK and Salman Khan are the biggest culprits here in mainstream Bollywood, and I don’t understand why anyone would want to watch them on-screen anyway! They’re just terrible, and need to retire, now!!!
