The problem is when people feel like "this what a hero/heroine does so why would I be an exception"... like I've seen comments on movies like Kabir Singh, the notebook where women were like "I need a kabir singh in my life/ I need ryan gosling in my life who will just keep waiting for me his whole after I left"
@sriduttlanka64752 жыл бұрын
Is that the problem of the viewers or the movie? I mean even I would love a girl like preeti who doesn't let some other man touch her pinky finger also. And maybe even a girl would love a husband like Kabir who couldn't move on from her and kept thinking about her day and night. It was just a Love story. Let it be at that. Nobody told the audience to because me the so called protagonist. That's the peoples fault. Not the movies.
@dOVERanalyst2 жыл бұрын
@@sriduttlanka6475 Kabir Singh slept with every woman possible. How on earth was he waiting? Any self respecting woman wouldn't want such a man. But sadly Preeti's character didn't have any self respect. Just reverse the roles. If the heroine slept with every man possible and the hero went back to her? Why can't I remember seeing a movie like this??
@sriduttlanka64752 жыл бұрын
@@dOVERanalyst he didn't sleep with every girl possible that's an exaggeration. He used to bring girls to his room and tell them his story. He used to have intercourse with women, yes. But that was to come out of the pain he was in. He never wanted to actually love the women he had intercourse with. He states that clearly to the actress. And you might ask why did he even have intercourse with women. Let me tell you why. Preeti aired him so badly. He didn't even know if she was alive or dead or happily married. Nothing. For him she couldve just moved on. But luckily she didn't. He was still stuck with her. He couldn't come out from the love he had for her. Let it be pain, happiness anything, it reminded him of her only. Reference to the glass cut scene. He used to have intercourse with women to reduce the pain he had. But nothing works. He still lived in the love of preeti. And preeti too loved him so much that she isolated herself from the society carrying their child, a symbol of their love. If you don't understand the depth sand the reason of the movie, don't watch. Its not a movie which shows ladies in a badlight, not men. It's a Love story. That's it.

@@sriduttlanka6475 It's funny & ironical how I understand everything you said. I don't disagree. Yet my point stands. Reverse the roles. Manpreet marries someone. Kriti doesn't know if he's dead, alive or happily married. She brings men to ease the pain. She has intercourse with them & tells them Manpreet's stories. Cut to Manpreet never touched his wife. And comes back to her. Believable? Nope. There you're. In real life, knowing someone you loved has love for you but slept with so many, is hard to digest. I want to know how many men will proudly introduce "This is the woman that waited for me. Not knowing if I was ever to come back. She slept with so many just to ease the suffering. But she could love none of them " It's not all black & white. Not taking away anything from his pure longing, but it is still not ok. A girl in similar situation will be slut shamed. Her own love will be the first to say, "Main kya gaya...." Men expect women to not touch anyone but somehow the man that touched all in her love is godly? Is glorified as THE LOVER? And women expect the man she left to have slept with everyone and forgive him too. I understand he wasn't in a relationship, he wasn't cheating. But what have we all come down to? This makes it normal and ok for men to be caught in bed with someone and say,"That's just sex. But I LOVE ONLY YOU" Yes, Ofcourse 🙄🤨

Eve teasing or domestic violence is not seen as a crime or even a considered as something morally and ethically incorrect , women sometimes are not even aware of their rights . So feminism , that is girls being treated equal and NOT above Guys is the need of ths hour here . This is the india where women empowerment is NEEDED .Guys and girls being friends are judged and it creates a communication gap between the two genders.
