When I grow up I want to be like you Vix! You are so engaging... (applauses). I love how you always bring different books to the table and you make me feel intrigued by all of them. You are a great reviewer. This time, although that's something you do in every video you have picked novels that cover great and complicated topics (women's rights, social prejudices and representation, discrimination, law and justice, idealization etc.) and, even though they seem obscured and hard topics you present them easily but without denying their importance. Bravo, my friend! My wishlist loves you every time you add a new book to the community, Great video, Vix!

If I could talk about books like you! So smart! So thorough! So amazing. I ❤️ Red Clocks! And Leni Zumas is freaking fantastic. You summed up An American Marriage so very well. Tayari has a great simple voice ... which I agree can some times can feel a bit less than needed . So, I started the audio book of Rainbirds and could not handle it. I have it in my shelf ... and am not drawn to it. I think the aloofness is exactly its issue. As always you’re my queen!!

Red Clocks sounds so interesting. I'm going to add that to my list. I love going into books not knowing much and the writer trusts the reader to figure things out. I love that you wrote letters to your husband. When I was younger I had lots of penpals because I enjoyed the process of letter writing.

I wish BOTM was in the UK it always looked amazing. I also neeeed Red Clocks, it sounds amazing. It's definitely on my priority to buy list.

R u an identical twin? Will we ever get to see your twin if she wants to make an appearance on this channel? c. 5:42, what kind of wall exists between US & Canada?

+TimeAndChance Fraternal, actually :) I think it’d be wonderful to do a video with her actually - I’ll ask her! Re the wall: there’s no wall in real life, but in the book there’s a metaphorical wall called The Pink Wall which just means that Canada has an agreement with the US that they will not perform abortions for people from the US who come to Canada looking for help.
