Agree, i also find it the simplest for some reason, much more problems you can solve than newton and more simple that hamiltonian, maybe i like it more bcuz i still dont get the hamiltonian

Me too. It only becomes difficult when friction is involved. In most cases, though, it's the one I'd try first.

I use Hamiltonian in my work (it's the basis of quantum mechanics and dft), prefer Lagrangian for the beautiful equations, teach newtonian. brave to make this a short but well done :)
