I actually really really loved your top! I would have cropped it so it has a ruched bottom, as the top part looks so flattering on you! I really hope you'll find a different shirred top that you can make Wendy's flip with because I really liked that idea as well. But it would be such a waste of your top to just keep the shirring and throw away the rest :( I already said it but it looks so flattering on you!

Oh my god, Wendy watching Micarah--we need a crossover! I love how Wendy is a self taught seamstress but she isn’t afraid to tackle what are “couture” level techniques and push for fun forms and shapes, and exquisite detailing that makes everything just incredibly enjoyable to wear!

Loved it!! I normally just make a picture of me and my current figure to sketch items I would like to make to get an idea of proportions.. But this is the extra level, I can actually shot myself wearing the items and see where to cut!!! Love your channel.. Big hugs.

next time you hem a knit just use a twin needle! it straight stitches the outside and zig zag on the inside. can be used on an machine

Ahh all these designs are so good Wendy!!! Wanted to request and see if you could try making minju’s (from next in fashion) pink dress :) it was recently worn by Seo yeji in a kdrama, and the gathered’ness and dramatic silhouette of the dress just reminded me of the dresses u’ve tried to tackle in the past heh

Your videos inspired me to start sewing, and I am so grateful for that. My mom and my grandmother are very experienced sewers, but I was never really inspired enough to start sewing. After binge watching some of your videos, I was in awe from the transformation from simple fabric to stylish clothes. I even am going to a high school where costume/fashion design is a big part of my day! My favorite was the pink/salmon colored long dress, #1. You seem to be an ace at photoshop. I took one look at it and said no way and was so overwhelmed I closed the program and haven't opened it since.

Hey Wendy! If you ever get a chance/opportunity, could you try a thrift flip where you use multiple pieces to make an item? A lot of thrift flips are about starting with one large item and taking away where needed since that's the ideal, but it can be hard for me to find nice clothing in my size, let alone in bigger sizes. I'd love to see if you have any ideas for combining pieces that are a little more...inspiring than just using one item as side panel fabric, haha. Hope you're having a good day!
