My kids love the Humphrey series! For read alouds I thought I'd post this idea for you and your viewers - we do Literature Logs which means you write about a story you've read and do a drawing to go along with it. The writing could be - your favorite scene, your least favorite part of the story, a summary of the book, summarize a chapter, why the book cover fits the storyline, compare and contrast characters, etc. It's a great keepsake too! I'd love to hear your favorite and least favorite read alouds from this school year. Ask your thrift store if they could do homeschool teacher discounts on books. Mine does 10% off which adds up with multiple kids.

Do you use a book/library app on your phone? I thought you did. I always check that when I’m at thrift stores or book sales to see if we already have it.

No, but someone told me about it and I just haven't gotten around to putting all my book in it yet. But I should prioritize it so I don't buy books I already have.
