Thrifting with you is so much fun! It's my therapy. You have given me so many fun and sweet decorating ideas. For example, the teacups in yor canisters, LOVE that idea!!🥰 We are in the beginning stages of packing and selling our home. I have a lil reminder note in my empty sugar cannister so that whenI set up again I'm going to incorporate this. So thank you for ALL you do! Filming, editing, commenting ,etc; is hard work. If your looking for a queen size bed some of the old beds you can remove the rail holders and put them on the outside of the legs of the bed and make it the size of a queen. I've done that with a full size headboard that was quite wide and it worked. You just have to get new cross members to hold up foundation. If there a will there's a way. Love your finds.

Thanks for the great walk through. Like you I used to thrift to relieve stress. I had a very stressful job so Saturdays I would thrift from like 9am till 5-6pm...no lunch. There are so many thrift shops in Greater Houston. You have inspired me since I'm homebound to change my decor. I get bored very easily since I see the same things day after day. There's a resale shop here & the owner posts all her new stuff. I order & they drop it off to me. I so appreciate her. Keep thrifting & posting. It's the first thing I watch on Saturdays. Good weekend.

Oh my gosh I would so love to go thrifting with you you’re such a pleasure. And we think so much alike. I thrift to flip but you do such amazing things to your items and give me such good ideas on how to stage them. You are truly a joy. I recently moved to Florida and thought that I needed to get out of my old world antique style and go beach. I hate it. I work on old stuff I grew up with antiquing with my parents and I’m now switching everything back. I love your house and that’s how I want to live. I so regret getting rid of all the stuff that I had over the years. I only kept a few things that were sentimental to me because I got them with my father but I got rid of so much stuff. You have really pushed me to go back to the way I love to live. Thank you.

Hi Julie! I think that soup tureen would look great on a coffee bar to store teabags in. I sure will keep that in mind about the scarves and the cake risers. You come up with the greatest decorating ideas. Btw if we lived further out of town two things I'd definitely want is a vegetable garden and chickens. I love the sound of a rooster in the mornings. I really like the bird candle that you got. I have white birds of all sizes around our house. I also prefer the white soup tureen with the greenery instead of the gravy boat. When I need to calm my mind I go to the Goodwill. It works like therapy for me. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Julie, I saw the video and I was speechless with some of things that I saw, first a French arch mirror and that bed OMG looks like French Provincial style, love love. Your haul was great as always, the soup casserole, the bird and the little bowls are my favorites. The bowls I think they are restaurant ware I bought some small oval ones in a dollar store and had the same name, they are pretty heavy. Thanks for the video, blessings. 💗🌹

Happy Saturday Julie. I like the white bowl with the greenery in it. 49 cents for the small bowl a steal. Pretty checker and start pillow I like it for only 99 cents. The scarf are pretty too great fines for $1.99. and $2.99. Love both colors.

The second one 😉love throws and I have found a couple of baskets and the way they were made I was able to display some of my vintage quilts. I wish you could get the manager of that store to really take a look at how difficult it is to reach above the clothing racks for the "breakable" items. No one is tall enough to see up there. I'm glad you got the pumpkin color throw. Its my favorite today!!

The tureen is perfect with the plant. I have a tiny one like that and use it the same way. So pretty. I was thinking a few vintage flower frogs( green) for spring/summer too. A pretty little vintage hanky with flowers as an embellishment. Enjoy Patti

I look forward to your videos every Friday. They are very therapeutic and help me unwind from the work week but also get me ramped up to do my own thrifting. Getting ready to head out to a Goodwill that I’ve never been to before that’s about 30 minutes away from my home. A succulent would be so cute in the bird after the candle is burnt if you don’t keep replacing it! It would be precious painted so many colors too! I know you like the color but still! Love those little restaurant like bowls. I get them when they aren’t too high. My thrift stores have been overpriced a lot lately. You can TELL the employees aren’t “shoppers” and don’t know better…so frustrating! Thanks for what you do. I lovveeee thrifting and up cycling!

Such a sweet little bird. I love birdfigurenes and stoppet my pig and rooster collection, getting to full. Now looking for outdoor figurenes/decor. What a stunning bed and I loved the greyish blue desk too. Put a bunch of corks inthere and decorate your candlesniffers in a little soupterrine. I have a baby one too. I have a fiew clear candleholders in there with some fairylanps in the pot. Have twisted candles inthere as decor. Love your scarvefinds, i love them too. Beautyfull orange one! I love soup turens for other uses too. I have used them for receipts holders, random items, plants, to hold cords and gadgets. Lol.

I watch her videos over and over. It does make me relax and I love watching the changes that she makes in her home. I’ve said that her home always look a picture out of a country/southern style magazine 💐

Always look forward to your Friday night videos! I wish I was with you as you’re filming because there’s so many things that I see and would love to buy them for my home. I love the soup tureen in the spot you styled it. It balances out the cloche on the other end of the shelf. Loved the bird candle holder and the burnt orange throw. Thrifting is definitely relaxing, it helps with my anxiety and stress.....it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who relieves outside inhibitors by going to thrift stores.
