I love these "boring" car drag races, please keep it up! I think why, is because 1) it's cars we see every day, 2) even "boring" cars nowadays, are not that slow, it wasn't that long ago when 180hp would have been a pretty sporty number, plus modern gearboxes work wonders for straight line performance, and 3) it's genuinely hard to tell who will win! With supercars, when you pit a Huracan, Corvette, and R8 against each other, hp gaps between them are often 50-100hp or more, and weight is similarly variable, but in these entry level cars, competition is razer thin, for power, pricing, weight, features, etc. so it makes for a really interesting race. I know you guys tend to focus on newer stuff, but just like your old vs. new series, I would love to see a multi-generational race in 1 car (e.g. 5 generations of civics, doing a drag race, and braking distance competition or something). That might just be a me thing, but I think being able to compare and see how they've progressed would be fascinating.

I just bought a Toyota Corolla GR Sport and the car is amazing. All leather around the interior with soft touch and high quality material. It has a great fuel comsuption between 3.5 and 4.0L and it's not that slow in sport. It's actually really fast in the first 60 KPH and just then starts to slow down the acelleration. 9/10 car!

How much will it take to get the New Nissan Sentra SR on the channel? I just bought one and would love to see y’all drive it.

I really like the performance car testing but I'm all for some everyday sedans getting in on the fun as well. Thoroughly entertained!

I own a 2013 Toyota Avalon and every once in a while someone new in the Avalon forums asks how they do on the track. We laugh until the person deletes their question but now I think I’ll send them to you. You can even use mine to race a current Avalon if that ever comes up. Happy to contribute to your ongoing series on cars that have no business on a track.

Is their a horsepower difference between the Touring and the sports version? Or the SI?

Well, is it just me or anybody like Carson like me. He can make me laugh and feel good even when he don't say a word.

I'm pretty sure the lull you experience from a roll is communication from foot to ECU to CVT. Mine seems to take just under a second to get in the mood. I'm not sure what the laptop was for. I don't understand how you could "tune" a CVTs performance with a stock engine… any better than Honda already has.

How many miles on these cars. Some cars are restricted from opening up all the way till 500-5000 miles.

these drag races are more interesting because these are the cars that are going to be dominating the streets and its interesting to know how they stack up to each other

I have a 2019 3GT, a lot of fun. Picks up fast and handles like a roller skate. Not a bunch of top end power but will break 135 on the hwy stock.

These kinda drag races are awesome as we have no idea in the beginning which one will win. The beauty is its not obvious 😎

Well I’ve always been a Honda Civic man but I love the new look of the Carolla now!👍

Thomas did a great job at editing the video. The music gave the races a casual, warmer, more family- friendly vibe, as opposed to the hair-raising, heart-pumping, andrenaline-rushing vibes drag races usually give. But i suppose the car choices also have a major role in this. And Karston's little accidental radio ad caught me off-guard. The video was comedic, but still informative. Well done.
