He said exactly what I been arguing with for years. 97.9 didn’t want anything to do with Houston Rappers until all the underground rappers rose up by themselves thanks to DJ Screw. I appreciate you Screw, thank you for the culture thank you for the love. And I know the real reason you chose the name Screw. The Walkman and Boombox reason. Never said nothing because at the time if people knew, they could screw their own music on any tape deck.
