Scrap metal adventure so big we had to get help! These estate sales have been pretty awesome opportunities for big piles of scrap, and this may have been the best one yet. Between the cars and the farm equipment though, we may have bitten off more than we could handle!
Wire stripper I use: amzn.to/3jrO2iS
The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
This is the cheaper version: amzn.to/2SwrYsB
And here are those grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)
Please like/share this video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe to thubprint!

This was my grandfather's farm, been visiting there since I was a kid. (The swings at the end of the video was one of the favorites of the grandkids.) The house is pretty empty now. The video is seeing things after a lot of stuff has already been taken away, believe it or not. Even though, I'm surprised how low the total weight was.

Snow? What the H? Manure spreaders, people love them for yard art! Balers, break out your breaker bar! they are made of really heavy steel, but they're also full of air. Gallons of WD-40! Sickle Mower, you need a 3/4 inch socket set and a breaker bar to stand on to break 50 year old bolts off. Well of course there's a mobile home frame mixed in...1920's-1960's small farm machinery is incredibly well built of heavy metal! Great Job Thub!

Invest your profit into a cutting torch. The next farm cleanup will be less than half the effort.

Looks to me like you need a good torch system to cut big metals down to manageable pieces

Next big farm job get the scrapyard to bring out a 40yard bin and fill it up. U wont need to keep driving to scrap yard over and over.

Hello Thub. Mustang and Fairlaine.. Those are worth a pretty penny I can tell you. I hope someone can restore and get them on the road again,, just for the automotive history.

Well I know for a fact that’s what the fella bought them for, so I’m pretty sure they’ll be back on the road eventually 👍

Would it have been easier for the scrapyard drop off a scrap dumpster?
@thubprint
@thubprint 2 жыл бұрын
100% yes. It would have cost $300 and they weren’t able to deliver it any faster than 4 days. I didn’t bother getting into it because I’d spent enough camera time talking about things but this was the perfect job to get one for and if I get another gig this size I’m certainly going the bin route
