No this is a Chinese TV series, Douluo Continent aka Soul Land . The Master is played by Calvin Chen and Tang Shen by actor Xiao Zhan.

I'm kind of amazed they created a live action for this. I read the novel, abandoned the manga, and refuse to acknowledge the horrid anime. And the live action appears to be just as bad. There is no 'disqualification', and the soul unlock happened when they were 6. His father knew about the hammer the day of the test because Tang San showed him, and was learning blacksmithy from the time he was very young because he wanted to make his hidden weapons. His father never knew about any record and never taught him any martial arts. Ugh. This was such a good novel, and they just can't get it right even when all they have to do is follow the words. How stupid is this, the students are the same age as the teachers?! Grandmaster wasn't a handyman, he was an invited guest known throughout the continent. Tang San also beat the crap out of the guard who tried to deny him. Xiao Wu also had no issues being in the dorm, Tang San also beat the people in his dorm... This is so stupid. Also, Xiao Wu did not ask him to braid her hair until later, because it was a very significant thing to have him help her.
