It would have KO'd instantly as well. I main lucario and hitting anyone above 60% with that move while Lucario is at 100% always kills. Lucario at 90% and Greninja at 112% would have been a certain knockout.

he went for sideb lol, he didnt go for grab that whole sequence. also i think you can deal with bad grab range when your kill percent is as low as 50. i'm a gren main, we got no out of shield options but combo's for days. always pros and cons with any character you chose to play

just found out it's a command grab but the fact still remains

@@jermainetalaepa8463 Eh Lucario's out of shield is hardly better than Greninja's. He has dair for super close punishes and Up-smash for close, laggy punishes. The problem with Lucario is that his kill options are very easy to avoid, especially for greninja. Tsu couldn't hit any Aura sphere charge combos nor any raw up-airs or back-airs at high aura, none of his throws kill, and side b has a terrible hitbox lol. Against someone with the mobility of Greninja and the skill of Lea, this is very difficult for Lucario.

All lucario needs is a little more weight and one good spike

@@AHGavInDaUSA down air has uses... Comes out really fast and sends at a brutal angle for edge guards. It's hitbox sucks though I would love to see them fix that

Slade Wright I always thought it would be cool to see aura affect the range of down air like it does for side b. Then it’d become way safer and more of a threat overall.

yeah what was that?? it was worse before some patch came along but it's still bad!! he needs ore grab range with that!

​@@eddio9466 Initial dash pushes opponents away making it less likely for side B to hit, and shields tilted forward prevent Lucario from getting close enough to grab someone when the whole point of the move is to kill an opponent holding shield.

Umbran then you haven’t seen good Greninjas. Greninja is easily top of high tier, he’s just unexplored as a character.

In Japan they consider him either a high tier or a top tier, the rest of the world is sleeping on him

Greninja might be top 15, as like 15th. He has no easy combos, he's light, he has no true combos except sometimes dash into RAR bair. Worst of all, he has zero out of shield options and one of the worst disadvantage states in the game. Not to mention his counter is trash and Side B is very limited in use. Dair is suicide, and Fair is laggy and takes months to get decent with. He isn't bad, but he's too technical to be consistent enough to be top tier.
