OKC had some soooooo many 2nd rounders this sounds like a great pick. Why not ?

0:05 the sound i made when we drafted topic...im so excited. Needed more playmaking after josh left. Looks like a more aggressive josh giddey. Able to drive and finish. Pretty good ft shootern hopefully that means chip engelland is able to fix his 3 pt shot. Very positive. Thats the swing i wanted

We literally wanted Giddey to come off the bench and he didn’t so we traded him for an elite piece. This is gonna be Josh Giddey off the bench. A facilitator running the 2nd unit with Cason, giving is ~12/5/5. I love this pick

Also he is a better defender and shooter than Giddey was

It's the right pick for the Thunder at that slot after seeing some of the other guys got drafted before him. He also comes from Serbia, the same country with Jokic. He was 3/4 on my list if not because of injury. The Thunders do need a true pg as a backup after trading Josh.

I hate the pick. In 2 years when this short-armed Giddey with bad knees we are going to say why in the hell didn't we take this swing on Bub Carrington. Same age, same size, plus wing span, good knees!, 82% FT shooter, solid outside shot, playmaker, team guy, more athletic prospect that plays as fearless as Saloun. I don't get it.

an acl surgery for an 18 year old automatically constitutes ‘bad knees’ for you? is the offseason over? how about you breathe and trust the gm who built the team we love.

Terrible pick. 😂 literally every news source/analyst loves the pick- A-A+ from all I’ve seen. He was gonna go top 3-4.
@RK.Anthony2 күн бұрын
What you don't understand is Topic is going to want to start in his 3rd season, if his knees don't hinder him. Chet still needs some size around him, so if Topic starts who gets replaced? Dort? Jalen? Shai? Caruso? Remember Reggie Jackson? Giddey wasn't good enough to start on this team and yet refused to come off the bench. Topic is a top 5 prospect in this draft, but would he even be top 10 next year? Bottom line, Topic can't move the needle forward next season, even if he would have been good enough to. I would have taken DaRon Holmes and found my Topic next season.
