Spending time this summer getting the 1993 T-Cat dialed in a bit better. It has been bit of a learning curve getting things tuned for the asphalt, but we're making progress.
The sled is a mostly stock 900, with stock pipes and a modified rear skid running a 121 x 10.625 track. I have never even ran this sled on snow since I got it, haha.

@@toocheaptosmoke They have a Facebook page. Saint Marys Airport Drag Races. I know that day is a car show too. Racing is heads up...NHRA rules. Think it's $25 to race

Almost too much, one time when it cooled way down it sort of lean popped off the line. But otherwise I'm pretty happy so far, for a non power valve engine.

Great vid, Man. Little bit of everything. Really dig the track footage. All my leftover sled gas goes through the lawnmower, but it's 93 octane with Klotz"s so it doesn't mind. And I can definitely say the speed dust makes my house a lot faster.

So if you're averaging 11 or so and 117, how fast was that bike going? I've ridden bikes in the past but anything over 80 always made me a bit uncomfortable, probably because the bikes I rode were generally "Barn Fresh" type machines. Great to finally see some track stuff. Wanted to for a long time. Thanks. Keep having a good time, and keep the Barn Fresh racing videos coming. 😎

I saw that hill you had to go up to get to the burnout box and I knew exactly where you were. I hate that track! When your lined up in the staging line people doing burnouts throw rocks all over everyone's cars. I and everyone that runs there uselessly run a second slower then other tracks. I'm luck to have Dragway 42 about the same distance away. Great vid!

Stock pipes? Stock carbs? Stock motor? Porting? I feel like 8k rpm is low. We have ran just pipes and clutching on our 1000 tcats and turned much higher rpms. Maybe the 93-97 900s are much different rpm wise.

Yup, pretty much all stock. The camera angle is a bit skewed, tach probably reading closer to 8200

Don’t blink ! Easy as that ! Lmao. 117 is nice but your high mark on your tach was under 6k and your hole shot was not bad ! Keep practicing ! The hole shot is the money shot !
